If you had to permanently abandon all ships for one of the four races

People have talked before about which you would choose if you had to fly skips of one race and one race only, but those discussions often devolve into an argument about which is best in the current meta etc.

Instead, imagine that you are forced to extract all spaceship command skills (from frigate on up) for one of the four main races. You have to do this across all characters and all accounts, and are forever banned from having or acquiring these skills on any character you now control or come to control in the future.

Which race do you forsake and why?

I assume you mean extract all the skills EXCEPT for one race.
Most of my characters are Gallente, so it would be the least effort to go in that way. That, and I like drones.
Edit: But it would be weird to have my Caldari, Amarr, and Matari pilots forced into Gallente ships.
Also, CCP would not do this, as they like the idea of players being able to make decisions, learn, then make new ones.

No, I explicitly mean extract all the skills for ONE race and be forever barred from flying those ships.

So you could be anything BUT one... he's going for who's the worst here by my read. I could be mistaken though.

Oh, OK. Caldari, because I almost never fly Caldari.

You, know, I said "one of the four main races" because I knew someone would be a smartass. But they haven't yet built a smartass-proof box.

Id sooner not play frankly. Too many pirate ships require two and now with CCPs rebalance and tiericide there is a good smattering of ships in all races. CCP has shied away from the flavor of the month races more and more and into specific ships or classes within races as good alternatives enough that now picking one "subhuman" race isnt something Id do.

And that is credit to CCPs balancing atm.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

I haven´t really played around enough with different ships but my spontaneous response would be Caldari. Since I'm Minmatar and love their ship designs and want to be able to fly SoE ships in the future Caldari ship skills are the only ones I could live without.

Would still be pretty ****** to miss out on some Pirate ships though.

Ignoring the parts relating to pirate ships...

My answer would be Caldari. I really dislike using missiles. Their turret use is is weaksauce. Their only redeeming quality is the EWAR. And to be frank, if I had to sacrifice one EWAR, it'd be ECM. I've used it successfully, but by far it is the most nitpicky ewar of the bunch.

Based on appearance: Gallente (Honestly, sober up before designing ships)
Based on function: Caldari (They may be the best missile boats but the other races have better overall functionality)

I never fly Amarr, but I do fly Sister's faction ships which require Amarr skills . . . I guess I could live without my Stratios though

Caldari.

Don't even have to think about that. I'm a pure-blood Gallentean and hate 'em with a passion on every level.
I actually wouldn't even have to extract anything, because I simply do not have any Caldari skills.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.
