this what ive done with my domi . i cant fit large hybryds for another 3 days but should give me room for 3 . im not sure if i should go for 3 350mm rails or neutron blasters if stuff gets too close .

does this look better . i will change the hardeners to suite the npc

Yeah, if you are going to mjd and snipe then go for the 350s. If you are going to mwd and smashmouth then go for the blasters. Also any base tech I modules you can probably replace with meta 4 modules off the market, not so expensive and they are better.

Idea is to take advantage of dominix unique drone range bonuses and use the range tank. After you come to the mission pocket, you drop mobile tractor unit, tank untill your shileds are gone and than LMJD 100 km away from rats. Frigates will be burnig straight toward you, so you large guns will be able to track them and that means your sentry drones (mission specific) will apply non-stop damage on larger rats.

After LMJD cools down, you jump back to MTU, kill the rest rats, pick up MTU and its content and go to the next room.

Garde II has 100 km falloff, Bouncers ll have over 80 km optimal and about 190 optimal + falloff, Curator II has over 100 optimal and Wardens II has 145 km optimal but your drone control range is just about 108 km. If you have good drone rigging skills you can replace Polycarbon Engine Housing with Drone control range augmentor rig, which really helps a lot. Or put factional drone damage mods, if your skills are not at V.

Check eve-survival.org to see, what kind of drones to use in what missions. Large beam lasers have low munition costs/cargo space requirements and offer instant range adjustment - you do not need to wait till the guns are reloaded.

OP, I have sent you my Dominix ship fitting ingame.

I have been using it successfully for a long time.

Get to mission location, use mjd, deploy sentry drones, complete mission.

Oh, and it is cap stable.

I do not feel the need for all those expensive faction modules.

A full fitted t2 dom is more than enough.

You do not need a good tank, nore good cap recharge.

You just need drone dmg, drone range and a mjd.

The two spare low slot are for resist (eitheir active hardner or EAN II)

The spare mid slot is for dual prop or an other tracking link

The spare high slot is for .. up to you. I like tractor beam when you do need to collect mission item.


For the rig really you cannot go wrong, me i putted an exp resistance because i'm fighting angel, then a nano pump and the last one a ccc i think.


The fit with blaster sounds fun i've to try it.

I usually run Gardes and Bouncers to get the widest range of distance. My Domi has something like (And I can't remember exactly, and I am at work):

2x BEagle DLAs (About the most expensive thing I have on the ship, can use T2, I just had them for something else and used them)
3x 350mm Rails
1x Salvager

2x Omni Tracking Links Scripted one each
1x SEBO T2
1x MJD
1x Cap Recharger T2

3x DLA T2
1x LAR T2 (I would be using a deadspace LAR but it is trapped in nullsec with another ship)
1x DCU T2
2x Hardeners

I use a damage rig and two CCCs...

I get about 650+ dps out of the drones, another 50-100dps out of the guns depending on range. Tank on it is about 350dps for 5 minutes, but you shouldn't even be using the rep, it is just for emergencies.
