Ice mining laser

Was there always a restriction on those on which ships we could fit them on? If i dont remember correctly, you could fit them to all kinda ships...


What happend??


And can this stupidity be reversed??

They're a new module intended to be fir only on the dedicated ice mining frigate, aren't they?

What are you trying to fit one onto?

might be i got my own fot in my mouth. It might be mininglaser i used to fit to BB just for the fun of it. So it could be ice mining laser is a New addition and not a old thing.

yeah, mining lasers have always gone on everything, ice mining lasers were introduced at the same time as the endurance frigate.

Ice has a 1000m3 volume iirc, it doesn't fit in battleships.

In my view it sux... but then again... ive tried to fit a 50000mn microwarpdrive to a BS... i had both cpu and Power... but noooo, CCP wont allow me to do that. On the otherhand, CCP allow me to fit 500MN to cruisers and 50MN to frigs.

But then agains... i would try to fit XL guns to crusier if i had the chance :D

it would be nice if the laser could be used on any of the mining frigs that way new players could join in ice belts with their corp

But then there's the whole "ice is 1000m3" thing and the whole lack of sufficient size holds on most craft.

A venture could still do it though, or a cargo expanded t1 exploration frig lol.

I wanna icemine in a BS..... probably the other iceminers will belive im gonna smartbomb them when i glide into position to mine :D

considering i said join in with the corp in ice belts the idea of them jetting is not out of the question and they have enough cargo to hold 5 iirc
