Time zones, 24 of them.

It's pretty probable that a sizeable chunk of the total player-base is either waking up, going to bed, sleeping, going to work, going home from work or just plain working.

Math checks out in order of magnitude. When taking alts and hours per session into account, it almost offsets the number of timezones. Blink
