I mean the legion has nothing going for it. I think the proteus had something going for it but It's be awhile. I mean shouldn't every factions t3's be good not just Tengu this Tengu that.

Brick tank + hams + neuts = hell yes
It gives people the willies when they see it.

I've seen small gangs lose their **** when my neut legion lands and go "HnnnnnnGgggGGGGGAKILLIT!KILLITNOW!" even when it makes no sense to primary me.

100mn legion is badass too.

Takes logi particularly well.

It's slow I'll grant you but can be fit to just ignore neuts and carry on fighting,
Has great reach with razors,

And of course looks badass.

Drone legion sucks so does rlm legion but me, there's better ships for that anyway.

I'm dying for the armour Crystal's to get down to a reasonable price to try something else with it.

Considering that all of them are OP compared to what they were supposed to be when they were first released this seems to be the best option.

As the others have pointed out OP your basic theory does not take into account that like all things in this game each ship has it's niche roll and the T3 cruisers are no different.

Or how Loki's are great support ships, same for Legions which are incredible usefull in wormholes. Not to mention 100mn Beam Legions are the FOTM. Like out off all of them the Loki is probably the weakest. But it's still an close to overpowered ship in it's own right. `#DeleteTheWeak`

I think it's fair to say that across all use cases and all things being equal:

Tengu > Legion = Proteus > Loki

But it's much, much closer than some people seem to think.

As a general matter, I can't believe that people are still underestimating medium beams as much as they seem to. They're ridiculously good right now if you use them right. And that's only one of three viable weapon options on the Legion. Medium rails aren't bad either and it's not like you have to slap blasters on a Proteus (though of course you can and should for certain use cases). Medium ACs and arties are in a bit of a bad place or the Loki would be fine as well, but right now you have to choose between no range and moderate damage or no tracking and low damage.

Honestly, the only weapon systems that aren't viable on T3s are HMs (which are just universally awful at the moment) and drones (which are just better on other hulls period).

Yeah, kind of dumb that you can't get a range bonused utility high remote rep and perma cap to run that too, CCP can't seem to decide between useless POSs like the Proteus and yolopwn machines like the punisher and rifter.
