No, that should have a negligible difference. What CPU do you have? I wish more games showed CPU frames along with GPU frames, would make it easier to see if your CPU is part of the problem.

All this signal for the viewing pleasure must go somewhere thru the ports. I know ithat 3.0 have a lot more capacity for that. But could this GPU even sqeeze out as much as to see the difference by putting it in fiting slot?

I'm not skeptical, I'm being realistic. Unless our current understanding of physics changes, drastically, leaving our solar system isn't likely to happen.

We have plenty of real estate here in the solar system that's reachable and colonizable with our current technology. I am a great advocate of leaving Earth to anyone who will listen, but I'm not concerned with wishing for space magic.

AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 8-Core 3.6 GHz . I don't know,I'll keep Windows' Task Manager open to see if the CPU load is heavy. What?

Gratz to LordOdysseus for getting his computer back online.

Kudos to Nana Skalski for coming up with the idea of a Blackhole propelled spaceship, even though someone else published the idea years ago.

Welcome back to Random McNally, RoAnnon and Commissar Kate, always good to see old LAGL Vet's.

Also totally agree with Kaaeliaa 100% on having an event for that idiot-alliance-that-never-shuts-the-hell-up-and-will-not-be-named.

And Matar Ronin, you wouldn't have to buy a ticket to that event because I'd be giving away free tickets to everyone so that nobody would miss it.

Hmm, it's not a terrible processor but not the best either. Bulldozer based core CPU's are kind of know for bad single threaded performance.

You should have a FPS increase with that GPU, not a significant one but one nonetheless. Try using the driver cleaner you get from guru3d.com and reintall the AMD graphics drivers and see what you get.
