It seems like it would be pretty easy to make one, but i don't have the time.

Essentially...

You have your main character/account, where all your windows, overview options/settings/brackets are perfectly setup.

Then you have your other accounts which are all a mess, and some you don't pvp with that often so they arn't fully setup.

Then you have your other 3 computers, your second desktop, your personal laptop and your work laptop, with all jumbled around window sizes, and overview settings.

What i would like is a program, that connects to a server that stores your main accounts setting file in the settings directory, and make it so you can turn all your other accounts settings files on all your other computers so it has the exact same settings. All you have to do is dl the program on your laptop, login, and choose which accounts you would like to have your mains settings, you would need to login to eve with each of the accounts to create the base settings file, so the main settings file can be renamed to the alt accounts setting file.

I have had to do this manually, and it took a bit of time, but now im pretty good with it and can do it easily by hand, but i think it would be a very popular program.

Overview settings saved in eve;
Nowhere near the same thing, not only do i personally have a specific window setup, the saved overview settings in eve does not save the filters, only the brackets, so you would have to go on every account on every computer to adjust window sizes, and overview filters, but thank god your brackets are there. Lol

The settings files use the user id from your Api to identify the account which is core_user_API USERID.dat, and then the specific characters have settings files, which use the core_char_CHAR ID.dat, which is something completely differen't, i found my mains CharID by logging in and then closing the client and finding the most recently modified one. Other then that im not sure of any ways to find the charid number, there probably are other ways though.

Anyways if you have any questions if anything here didn't make sense please eve mail me or post here. Also.. I'm not sure if this is against the Eula or not, but i don't believe so, since the settings files are not in the eve folder.

make an api query on the corp?
I seem to recall finding a query that replies with everyone's charid and names who are in a (your?) corp

This is one of those little things that would make eve a better place, and could be done by someone outside of ccp!
