So it appears apple released their newest OS today?

Support? Yes/no?

Anyone?

Update Sep 25th:

I have updated to macOS Sierra on the 21/22 and started up EVE with no issues. I have run with log lite in the back ground to gather reading material for CCP Snorlax. All seems to run fine for the three or four times I have been able to log on and play.

I'm not going to update to Sierra until I know there aren't any issues with EVE...don't think there should be...but, you never know Blink

I've just updated to Sierra is on initial test it doesn't seem to be working.

I'm busying re downloading Wine.

Will report back soon.

EDIT:

After a re-install of Wine, All seems to be in working order.

Uhm...

I updated today, and while running it on Wine it seems much slower than it used to be prior to updating. Cider does not have the same graphic quality (or so it seems to me).

Note that i was still using Yosemite.

INDEED, FINALLY ....When On Cider I had max resolution and all high effects and graphics options...smooth sailing at 2560 x 1440 resolution...

STUPID WINE on the other hand , I now run low and medium graphic settings, some things turned off, and the game still stutter and lag all day ...NOT FUN!!!

I would get some log files and stats and share them with CCP Snorlax, it maybe that EVE Wine isn't as refined as Cider was for some things. The more CCP knows, the more they can do.

Testing some more myself, but that is what I'm intending to do. But I'm pretty sure they gonna stick with Wine...

They will stick to wine - but every issue we find, every problem we report (I am assuming) gets worked up the food chain so that improvements can be made for all players.

I aonly play on low graphics with my 2012 iMac with a 512 graphics.

Only time I go all out is on SISI and last I tried I did like 40-60 with some issues on lots of objects in space. I did find in the settings the ability to delay the brackets in space which I will play with on TQ.

Updated to macOS Sierra 10.12.1 (16B2555)

Eve starts up but then beachballs for a few seconds and then locks up my entire machine. Have to hold down power button to restart. Happens anywhere from immediately on launch to 10-15 seconds after using. If I leave it backgrounded it keep going until I foreground EVE then it crashes. Tried uninstalling everything and re-downloading EVE but then it would launch at all so I put the previous stuff back. Can't refuel POS... It's gonna crash and burn in a few hours.

That's new - have you used log lite to gather info.

Might try to do a refresh on the launcher and ther is a way to make the launcher forget you client version so it checks and fixes stuff.

Hopefully CCP Snorlax can help more, but they will need log files.

See if you have a Razer audio plugin installed at /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/RazerKraken7.1ChromaAudio.plugin - it unfortunately won't work with Wine. If you have this installed, try removing it. You can always install this again via Razer Synapse if you want.

I don't have the Razer plug-in installed.

I disabled audio in the game and it hasn't crashed since so I'm at least able to get on now. I'll mess around with the audio settings and see if I can narrow it down more. Maybe there's some other audio plug-in that's messing up.

I've seen one case where EVE Voice was causing issues (although it works fine for others) - try disabling EVE Voice and otherwise leave sound enabled (you could try this on Singularity to minimize the damage if it still crashes).
