My two cents as a FW bitter vet to 'change FW' is as follows:

If I am not mistaken you betrayed minmatar faction when they need you most. And joined their enemy. You rushed back when there was a sure medal to get. That makes a parasite out of you, not a " bitter vet".

*Yawn*

I love how keen pilots who know nothing about anything are quick to throw the term traitor and parasite around.

As someone who has been a member of both Min Mil and Cal Mil. Who has been on campaign with Gal Mil and flown with many ex/current -Amarr Mil pilots I have a view to contribute on the subject.

Were Min Mil complaining when I fought as a grunt in the Minmatar Civil War as a part of the Losematar Coalition? No. Were Min Mil complaining when I fought in the 'Burn Huola' offensive as a part of the Huola Coalition? No. Were Min Mil complaining when I helped pick them up off the floor after Amarr Mil wiped out the warzone? No. As both an FC and Director in the most powerful Min Mil Corp of the time I paid my dues.

Did some in Min Mil complain when I went pirate? Yes, although the pilots who knew me better would hit me up and ask me to steer our pirate fleet into Amarr Mil fleets that they couldn't handle. Which I duely did when the opportunities were there. Did some in Min Mil complain when I joined Cal Mil? Yes, but pilots who knew me better did deals with me for bulk importing of Cal Mil LP hardware at well below market rates. Not to mention an alt I left in Min Mil to fight with when needed or to mention when Min Mil commanders would ask me for diplomatic advice.

Did anyone complain when I crashed out of World War Bee back into Min Mil for a break because of RL? Yes some did quietly and politely as I helped run vanguard gangs ahead of the bash fleet to maintain the vulnerability chain. Those complaints grew louder once victory was achieved however only from pilots who don't know me. Call me a parasite if you want however I have more of a valid historic claim to that medal than the majority of its recipients (the majority being LP farmer alts). Frankly Min Mil would have done better historically if certain elements did not proclaim a witch hunt every time a pilot chose to leave for a time.

I'd expect a much greater damage done to HPLT, or even Minmil as a whole. Had infact Nameira been a traitor. But she left HPLT on good standings, kept in touch, and is a very welcome face to once again see under the HPLT banner.
