""In the beginning all things were as one. God parted them and breathed life into his creation, Divided the parts and gave each its place, And unto each, bestowed purpose" - The Scriptures, Book I 1:4

I had the privilige of being the afforded the Duty of becoming SFRIM's Directrix a year and a half ago. It would be an understatement to say that I felt like I had large shoes to fill with respect to my predecessor Nicoletta Mithra. While Duty is its own reward, I nonetheess am proud of what the corporation has grown into over that time. And that time has not been one where such progress was to be made easily. The Society's successes were forged in the heat of the tumultuous events through which the Faithful and Empire have endured and over which they have triumphed.

"Surround yourself with the faithful, Stand together, for there is no strength like it under the heavens." - The Scriptures, Book of Missions 71:21

As set forth in our Mission Statement, the Society seeks to use our vocations as capsuleers to fight internal threats to Greater Amarr and strengthening it from within as well as fostering good relations to it's allies. During my tenure there was the emergence of the Drifter threat, the machinations of the Butcher, the cowardly assassination of Empress Jamyl I, the resurgence of the Sani Sabik heretics, and the ongoing extermination of those that call themselves "Purists" while rejecting the very Will of God in the crowning of Her Imperial Majesty Catiz I. No. We do not live in uneventful times. The Society rose to take their place among the Faithful to face those threats, shoulder to shoulder with PIE and CVA and others. As I said, to say that I am proud does not do justice to the emotion of esteem and adulation that surges in me when I reflect on the members I have been so blessed to lead.

"“Lead all children to the light of God, for Heaven is theirs to inherit.” - The Scriptures, Book of Reclaiming

As also, set forth in our Mission statement, and paramountly to our identity, the Society seeks to uphold our Scriptures and traditions and aim to spread the word through example and teaching. In so doing, the Society aspires to be a light to the Cluster and an exemplar of faithful service to the Empire and the righteous causes to which God calls us and all praise belongs to the collection of brave, industrious, devoted people who serve under the Society's banner. During my tenure we have engaged in relief operations and refugee operations and have sought to spread the "Good Word" by word and virtuous deed.

"All things were created by the Divine, and so the glory of our faith is inherent to us all; When thine heart shines with the Light, thou shalt know no hardship; When thine actions are in Light's name, thou art immortal.’" - The Scriptures, Book of Trials 2:1

As a good wine is made from many grapes, and a good Faith made from many souls, so to is a good community made from many people. In our diversity we find strength and it is in this spirit of eclecticism that I have rotated out of the position of Directrix to rejoin the board as Praefecta. Lucas Raholan has taken the reigns as our new Lord Director. His long and distinguished service to the Society and Empire, which I have been most privileged to observe from a close position, makes me confident that under his leadership the Society will continue on from strength to strength into this new era.

I am proud to associate with this group as allies, certainly, but also because of Directrix Aspenstar's push towards good works and charity. Whilst I share neither her faith nor allegiance that has never proved an impediment to working together. Her humility, especially, is a welcome comparison to some Amarr Loyalist groups.

It remains to be seen whether Lord Raholan can match this performance, or whether a new leader will result in a radical new direction, but his reputation is promising.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

I must start with thanking Luna for her long a dedicated service to the Society and to the Empire, without her work SFRIM would be a mere shadow of what it is today and I am confident that she'll do as well in her new roles as she did in charge.

Needless to say I also have a rather daunting role to fill, I can only hope I am half as successful with this role and my predecessor.
However I do not back down from a challenge and look forward to continuing the Society's legacy of co-operation and strength to the Amarrian cause and to its allies across the cluster.

May the Society only grow stronger.

Lord Director
Lucas Raholan.

CVA and Pentag Blade are proud to call SFRIM allies and fellow faithful, and we look forward to continuing that relationship with the new Lord Director.

On a personal note, many thanks Ms Aspenstar for your services, guidance and assistance on innumerable ocassions during your tenure. Best of luck and God's blessings in whatever new role you choose to serve in.

Directrix Emerita Aspenstar Daphiti has been exemplary in her leadership of the Society and it has been an honour to serve her during that time. There have been any number of challenges large and small and she has been undaunting in her pursuit of the right path and the resolution of each of these. Her guardianship of the people of the Society has also been unmatched, she has always been there for support and direction as well as providing insight into the faith when times have seemed dark. She has truly served the Society, Empire and God as we all should strive too.

I am pleased she is staying with us and I look forward to many more years of her advice and support.

I for one are pleased to welcome our new Lord Director. His history as an expert pilot and his leadership during attacks by heretics have shown his metal and I have faith the Society shall continue it's mission to the highest standards.

Proper Shoes are Necessary for Rotation, to prevent Ankle Injury caused by catching the Heel in an Irregularity in the Floor.

The Lady Daphiti is perhaps the only Amarrian in the pod I have come to respect for both her stalwart convictions and her embodiment of the values of her faith. One of the very few people I would think twice about going weapons free upon due to the esteem and regard in which I hold them.

Fair winds and open skies, Lady Daphiti.

I would like to commend the Lord Director on his new position; while the Directrix Emerita's shoes will be rather large ones to fill, I've flown with him on a number of occasions and have always found him a spirited and dedicated comrade, and so the one most likely to be able to fill those shoes.

May IKAME's and SFRIM's relationship only grow closer in these trying times.

It should be pointed out that, in fact, Lady Aspenstar has rather small and dainty feet - not that Lord Raholan wouldn't find it hard to get a pair of her boots on.

It should also be pointed out that I would bet good money that Lord Raholan would not be able to cross an undulating floor surface whilst wearing a tiny pair of high-heeled boots, although I am open to being proven wrong.

How much money are we talking about here? I'll have you know that back during my misspent , misguided and often drunken youth I had made it 3 feet before I fell over in high heels, I have since forever pitied any women forced to wear such cruel contraptions

What I'm getting from this thread, is that Nicoletta has big feet, and Lunarisse does not.

Well.

You know what they say about women with big feet.

Finding stylish shoes is difficult for them.

Ha-haaa, you were expecting me to make some awful joke, and I didn't. Hah !

Reclamation Technologies would like to acknowledge Directrix Aspenstar for her numerous efforts to improve the connection between commercial concerns in the Federation and the Empire. We congratulate Lord Raholan on his advancement and are confident in his leadership vision and organizational ability.

We regret that after review RECLT has closed all of its corporate offices within the Empire and Kingdom, liquidating what few orbital and planetary holdings ‘we’, or our subsidiaries, both public and private possessed.

While RECLT maintains primary resource collection operations within the Mandate, those operations are currently under review.

If you will carry two trays, each with two full glasses of wine on them, from one corner of the dance floor in the Holy Grape to the opposite corner whilst wearing a pair of the former Directrix's highest heeled boots, then I will donate 25,000,000 isk PER UNSPILLED glass to SFRIM's charitable works.

I'm just.

I'm fairly certain everyone can really stop fussing about the Directrix-Emeritus's feet, as of now? Regardless of their shape or size or pointiness?

Wretch now? Just months ago you'd consider someone like me a fellow brother of the faith. Write a poem, I could use some amusement during these dark times.
