Yep that is a lot of words to say that, but you are only partially right in the assessment. It's a bit lower priority than other things and obviously has been for a while. However, I wouldn't say my impression from development is that it's a "low priority" item.

The thing is truly that we've been though a few rounds of resource allocation determination (aka planning sessions) and the target date for FW has moved around a bit accordingly. As the guy that brought such famous responses as this one on the subject, it's a bit maddening to see a feature I've always loved (I was a Squid defector to the Minnie Militia for a half a year), go through this seesaw motion--especially when I got the goahead to post that last response after triple checking. Yet I truly understand it when faced with the super complicated nature of production planning. FW doesn't need a quick "fix", but a bigger one than time and resources have allowed.

The most recent version of planning, as Guard said, is nearing an end... so the viscous concrete will begin to harden.

I'm glad to hear that the next iteration of FW isn't just some duct tape, but some real deal overhauls. Kudos to you guys for taking FW seriously all this time.

Think we all share that sentiment .. but why the hell couldn't they have come out and said that after they blue-balled the FW crew at fanfest or sometime during the years of complete silence?
