Anyone know why, since the Wine update, my Mac has started to nod off after 5 minutes without a control input? This then causes a 'socket closed' DC. Never had this before. If the client i was running the compy stayed awake.

Not sure what the tech term is. but you can change your computers sleep preference in the system preference.

Here I get socket closed if I dont click on something on that toon for more then 5 minutes.
Got 2 toons in the same pc at the same time but only the one that i dont click anything will disconnect.
More, sometimes the ship takes 2 or more minutes to warp off.

This is not a problem with our ISP or our computer, in my corp i have people in different countrys and different ISPĀ“s and they have the same problem, socket closed all the time in only one toon, the other remains ingame work as intended.

I have had the same issue. Now it's evolving.

Used to be able to leave the client running without issue but now the Mac's screen goes to sleep even though the preferences are set to NOT go to sleep.

When I return to wake the computer, the client is frozen and I have to hard reboot.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I left my activity monitor up last night when I went AFK. I come back to a frozen computer with WINE running 122% of CPU
