Anyone else having trouble with these event sites?

Use a Vexor Navy Issue like I do, takes roughly 1½ - 2 mins for each site.

Anyone happen to unlock all of them yet? I've already hit a point where I'm seeing a lot of duplicate SKINs from ones I already have. Odd RNG too, I have 4 Ark SKINs but no Providence SKIN yet. X Damn you, odds and chance! Still looking for one for my Paladin, yet already have one for the Avatar and Archon.

Btw, anyone know if CCP ever stated what the end date was going to be? Next week? Two weeks? Until the Nov release?

Btw, are skins random, or less likely the bigger the ship? Have collected 9 yesterday, no duplicates ... but also no confessor yet ...

I'm my own NPC alt.

For me it really has been random. I picked up an Aeon and an Amarr rookie ship. The only duplicate was the purifier. Still missing some I want but I have a paladin skin.

I would also say I have seen a good mix of T1, Navy, and T2. Definitely seems to be random.

If you get into the boonies, you see several. I landed in Pamah and there were five sites just sitting there with one person in local. Took my arty Hurricane and laid waste to all 5 sites. I have seen several even spawn in rookie systems, so I would check those first if you cant find them.

Seems entirely random. So far I have several cap SKINs, including the Archon and even the Avatar. All in High Sec.

I think it is very random - but I have "nearly" completed the collection, so far i'm at 46

Have all caps and super caps, most t2 ones.

Of the t2/t3/navy ones i think i'm missing Anathema, deacon, curse, legion., navy slicer.

Of t1 ones - noob ship, maller, oracle, harbinger, shuttel, coercer, augoror

OP here is what I do.

1. Pick a system with low traffic that you know is good because it gets at least one site up. Systems without stations can be far less busy. Check the map for slow systems using the filters.
2. Stay in the system until a site pops. Watch Netflix or read on the side make sure you're keeping an eye on the overview.
3. Warp to optimals and profit.
4. If someone warps in on you, lock them immediately so they know that you mean business. Few people will test you in highsec.
5. If you are desperate try a slow system in nullsec
6. Make sure not to carry too many Skins of value, use them or put them in a hangar if you get more than 3-4

I am doing them in an Oracle and a Nightmare together (on my husband's account as a favor to him he liked these skins)

It only takes me less than a minute or two no one has time to respond in such a slow system.

Make sure you pop the Cardinal as soon as he spawns, as you don't have to kill the rest to loot the wreck!

Yea, i had the same experience. People are farming the sites like crazy. Sometimes 3 players are competing for the loot.

Doing the sites is a waste of time IMO, if you really want the SKINs, do 2h of incursions (or something with similar ISK/h) and then buy them all from the market after the event has ended. They will be dirt cheap because hundreds of grinders are farming the sites. Let the mindless grinders do the work.

I've found two Avatar skins now, both in hisec. Quite random drops indeed.

Well if you had to run the site in an avatar to get one they'd be pretty rare P

Get out of HS. I regularly find LS systems where I'm alone in system and 5-6 sites are just sitting there.
