for the solo miner Citadels will slow the isk per hour down. With a POS a miner can warp to the asteroids , mine , return to the pos and dump the ore, rinse and repeat. With Citadels it is the same as a station , undock..wait...warp to belt, mine , return and wait to dock..... rinse and repeat. This is a time loss which can lose lots of isk per hour

So don't use it if you don't like the extra 10 seconds. Problem solved.

If I win please Evemail me.

On the other hand you can have 0 costs for fuel, if all you do is dock/unload/undock...

1) engineering complexes come out in 2 months. You already predicting Armageddon before we even know what the new system can do.

2) mine in a rorq with on board compression.

apart from failing to see the point of this thread - I'm quite sure I can dock to astrahus, dump the ores undock and enter warp back to the belt at least as fast if not faster than OP takes to jetisson ore and turn around that mining barge or exhumer of his...

PS. position and facing of a citadel have a huge impact here

I used citadels to steal some ice from silly can miners, and the citadel dock/undock was rather rapid. Much more so than a regular station. Improved code or something, I'm sure.

Also you can position the citadels to get insta-warps to wherever you deem necessary.
