Hey everyone,

Looking to get into Angel 10/10's and from what I've researched the Tengu fit that I have would be insta-popped by the boss in the last room. Is there a good Tengu fit that could tank Angel 10/10 or would a legion work better?

Looking for a good fit due to the fact I will be running a lot of 10/10's.

I was running this 10/10 a while a go in a Machariel. The biggest hit took 75% of Machariel shield with 2 T2 Invuls and a damage control in low slot.

About running in a Tengu i think it's not a very good idea due to low DPS. In Machariel with maxed out skills and around 1300+ DPS it took me 40-50 minutes to run this plex (insta popping frigs and no delay in killing cruisers).

About last room and boss....it was hard to break his tank and kill him quickly before everyone would attack (I used MJD and landing right on top of him or in my optimal).

Machariel has 2 strong points: insane speed on AB for a battleship and exellent tracking of the guns. So use those points.


Here is the fit

4 x Gyrostabs (use the ones you can afford to loose, because you live in 0.0)
3x Tracking Enhancer II

Gist X-Type Large Shield Booster
Gistum B-Type Adaptive Invulnerability Field (you can fit T2 invuls and T2 Damage control, but you loose a bit of tracking)
Gistum B-Type Adaptive Invulnerability Field
Gist X-Type Shield Boost Amplifier
100MN Afterburner (Gist X or Domination)

7x 800mm Repeating Cannon II
Cloak - must have if when running plexesin 0.0

Large Capacitor Control Circuit II
2x Large Capacitor Control Circuit I

This fit seems to be expensive, but considering that you make between 250-1800 mills from 10/10 it is a cheap fit.

When you warp to a plex, keep range, kill small and medim ships from range orbiting BS at 50-60 km (barrage works well), then choose 1 BS and move on AB with maximum speed towards it. By doing so (my Machariel does 616 m/s) you will avoid most of the hits from other BS. Then choose another BS and do the same trick. Basicaly the faster you move, the easier it is to tank the plex. By playing correctly and using strong sides of your ship you can run 10/10 without any problems.

I dont think that it is possible to stay still and tank the hole room in Machariel. To play like this you need a Marauder with bastion.

P.S. Also I used this fit for 10/10, does it without any problems if you know how to play. This fit is used for plex running in a system far away with no station.

at that time Machariel BPC costed 360 mils I think and now it's 190 mils or so. Everything droped 2 times in price.

So pretty much the best thing to do is get Mach's for Angel 10/10's?

Also I tried an Ishtar just in a Angel Haven and the dps for the drones ultimately suck, was great vs rats I was going against before but now it seems slower. Not sure if its just me or what. But I'm thinking of investing a lot into Mach's if that is the case since it looks like you can run most in a Mach.

If you are dual boxing, then definetly 2 Tengus (2000 DPS is more then enough to clean 10/10 in less then 30 minutes). But it all depends on your taste.

Now playing around for it a little bit, would this be a good Rattlesnake fit for 10/10's besides the Macherial. I'm just trying to figure out two different play styles that might work since my Main is good with missiles/drones and my other character is good with gunnery/drone setup.

It is cap stable with the implant. Thoughts on this if this would work or not work in a Angel 10/10?

Also with the Mach's would it be ideal to run the 10/10's with mid-high grade crystal set or can you run it in a blank clone?

Might want to try Kinetic Missiles, The Snake gets 50% bonus to them which should more than makeup for the extra Rat resistance.

Only time I have seem this not apply is to the sleeper Boss in C5/6 sites (EM does more than therm by a lot)
