I'm watching this two videos
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGfKoQUVGXE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7VY_-RxbOU

Leaving aside that a big portion of them is making a character, I have questions about finding systems.
This is a picture from the first video http://i.imgur.com/VhUnCXU.jpg from this map how do I know which system is for novice? is that Level circled in green? Or do I need to search system to system until I find one?
Because in both videos they cut the video to a system that already have a novice gate in it... but how did they know?

Also those systems (blue and red) in that map are the only ones where this type of game can be played?

Every system on that list has a novice complex. If it was closed recently (just got completed by other player) you have to wait till the new one is there. I do not know how long but surely less than an hour.

If your overview does not show novice after you jumped into the system, you need to check the scanning tool to the left of your hood. You know - the one, that shows signatures. FW complexes, that are not touched yet are hidden there. As soon as someone warps to the complex for the first time it will be visible also in overview

there is no real such "novice" systems, systems have various "plex" or beacons named differently to tell the different size of ships allowed into the plex, novice being restricted for t1 and faction frigates, dont assume these are places where novices can pvp because skill is not a restriction in this game, 8 year veterans and 2 day character can both enter novice plexes.

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*
