Hy. I have some POS questions, read through forum, but didn't found the exact answers.
So, my main question is: Is there any ETA for removing POS, and if I have an online POS, do I just lose all the money I invested in it?
I'm asking this question, because I recently started to look into moon mining in nullsec, and I though to set up there a medium POS with basic defense (low to nothing) and 2 moon arrays with silo, simple reaction. My goal is to make only the first type of moon materials, and haul them to highsec, but after I read a bit, I don't really know if I'll get my investment from POS in the short time before POS will get removed.

Also, any BPC we have with POS faction parts, will they also get removed without "replacement"?
Thanks.

There are no details available yet. But for the moment you can reasonable assume the following:

1. Individual POS modules might be gradually removed from the game as their functionality is taken over by new structures. We'll see how CCP is going to handle this when the Engineering Complexes are released. Labs and Assembly arrays will most likely be made inactive and NPC buy orders will be put up so people can sell them at their base cost.

2. Moon Mining will be tied in with the drilling platform structure and the entire process is likely going to be revamped as that's been on the to-do list for years now. I would not expect the moon mining mechanic to return in the exact same fashion. Drilling platforms are currently slated for release in late winter, say somewhere in February.

Either way you won't lose your money, there will be ample time to switch over to the new structures and you will get at least a portion of your investment back. Keep an eye on Dev Blogs for the coming months to keep updated on the matter.

There is a lot of useful information on the new structure system in the structure presentation from Fanfest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BU-KIdaFRJ0

Basically, the POS will not be removed until feature parity is achieved but a buyback program will be available

I would suspect that POSes will be around for quite a while still. With the new industrial structures hitting this year we won't see the next wave of proposed structures until next year and even then, they aren't just going to flip a switch and do away with all POSes overnight. CCP knows how vital POSes are to the game - that's why they are doing such a big overhaul. I bet there will be an announcement followed by a long transition period before they completely go away.

In any case, I think you have plenty of time to play around with your moon mining before you need to start looking for a new plan.

I wish I knew how people came to the conclusion their pos will suddenly be worthless.

You'll be able to set up your moon mining, get attacked, rebuild, get attacked again, rebuild, switch alliances, have your sov taken, re-take sov, rebuild, get attacked again, switch back to the original alliance, and rebuild once more before pos's even get announced to be fully removed. Hows that sound.
