There needs to be one of these events centered around minmatar lore/ skins. They get no love and have a really good T2 lineup. Seriously

Haha... but yes. Minmatar got no hype, but you can always shoot their militia in amarr space for lore sake

I'd settle for a few skins that aren't awful. Minmatar get no love from the art team.

they have one decent skin and it makes them look like industry ships -.- tbh caldari are not much better but they still have a few skins

Yes, Minmatar got a bit the short end of the stick in the skin section.

You mostly just can choose between rust and darker rust.

TBH Minimatar ships are mostly Rust, Chicken Wire and Duct Tape anyways.

I saw a suggestion once to give Minmatar ships pipes and have them blowing flame out of them. Basically turning Minmatar lines in the choppers (to use motorcycle terms) of the ship lines. Why not just put that into a skin, since the point of skins is customization anyway? Fits in with the lore, and would be bad to the bone. Maybe that's just me though.

I suggest relooking at the Min skins options. I was browsing them today and saw 4 options on most ships, some of which are really nice on some of the ships. You have Blue Tiger, that's not a rusty skin, you have Sebiestor, ok that one kinda looks rusty in some light, you have Tronhadar Ink, also not rusty, and Valklear Glory, also very not rusty. (I was looking at them on the Cane for reference, mileage may vary on other ships obviously).

That's just as many as the other races, Amarr only just got their 4th skin option with Purity skins.
So not seeing a problem here.

They should get a Rustoleum skin, that adds 500 yrs of glorious rust to the model.
