I guess its scheduled for January 24th that alliances will be allowed to join fw.

Just wondering if any alliances have decided they will likely join FW and if so for what side.

Make faction war occupancy pvp instead of pve https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=53815&#post53815

I think goons and test should join cal FW and camp all of the mission gates so that the other caldari players can't farm the missions, and then goons and test will gain exclusive access to the LP, thereby cornering the market and generating tons of tears.

I would be very surprised if Goons or Test have the standings to join FW.

Perhaps Lyris could enlighten us, preferably in less than 10 words.

Camp all the mission gates?!

Not sure what you mean here.

If you mean the gates to every system that a mission could be run in, this is not practical given some are regional gates and there are no bubbles in lo-sec. To camp a regional gate would require a lot of man power and patience.

If you mean the acceleration gates, you do realise that these are unique for each mission runner, and that each mission runner will typically collect about 10 missions before running them all? There are a lot to camp and they are constantly being closed and opened.

Catching them while they are in stealth bombers is not easy.

Catching them in bombers isn't as hard as you may think. All you need is a few interceptors that will warp as soon as a acceleration gate pops up. If the bomber pilot was smart, and opened the beacon without warping to 0 (and a great many do warp right to 0 on the gate) then the inty still lands on the gate before the bomber. He still can't do his mission, he still has to move on or try to rally a force to kill said ship, which no doubt would be able to get far more reinforcements.

Even better, simply running a 24/7 camp of the stations that provide the missions would also work. Of course only an idiot dies on station since you can just redock, but you can't expect an insta warp bookmark to save you against a well organized force.

What I am getting at here, is despite the relative feeling of safety while running missions in bombers, a well organized group with plenty of manpower could totally lock things down if they wanted. Despite popular opinion you don't actually need bubbles to catch people if you are prepared for them.

In fact, FW missions are too easy to farm with alts, I know I still have FW alts, I say make the tears flow, and drive that LP value up. After all, the Caldari Milita has so many farmers, that I think their tears could form rivers that could cure droughts in all kinds of countries all over the world, and think of the children that could save.

Yes you can catch them, but the problem is, its too ******* boring to do this, all for a bomber kill. So while it is possible to do, its impractical to do so.

Manticores are a plague. Thry should not be able to do FW missions. Just set the gates so they cant get in. Make the mission runners fly real ships and have real risk.

Caldari never undocks though Big smile
As to the others, you'd be surprised how many kills Gals and pirates got camping Enaluri station and popping mission runners grabbing missions from agents Shocked

Best way to kill a mission runner is with an insta locking Ruppy on their mission station. I hear someone does that from time to time in dal. Often for a number of hours while watching sports and laughing with people on TS.

However if I was a minnie, i would be asking CCP while they are the only race with stupidily short kick out stations.

+1 for more kickouts btw.

O, On the LP front. Navy Ravens and Scorpions are already so much cheaper then they where, their market is already in a state of crashville. 370m For a Navy Raven, when I was in Caldari they were 550m

Don't ask about Italics, just tilt your head.
