Kill right when destroying yellow wrecks ?

Hey.
got a question. I shot a yellow wreck in high-sec in a combat site.
Result: Concorded + kill right for a month.

I didn't shoot any player, only empty wrecks.

Did the game mechanics change or are we considered criminals when making some householding ? Shooting yellow wrecks equals shooting a ship in high-sec now ?

Thanks.

Chuno.

PS: a combat site respawns as soon as it is emptied, no ?

Pretty sure it's been that way for a while. Only wrecks you can shoot are your own. Even if are in fleet with someone so their wrecks are white, if you shoot them, you will get concorded.

Simple solution? Don't have your safeties set to red unless you plan on suicide ganking.

And no, sites don't automatically respawn as soon as they are emptied. Unless you mean null sec anomalies in upgraded systems. Then yes. Outside of that particular circumstance? No.

It has always been that way - if you can't legally shoot the player you can't legally shoot their wreck.

The day that shooting a player illegally began generating a kill right is the same day shooting their wreck generated one.

I actually had someone a few years ago randomly suicide a drake on a jet-can I had outside a station over an hour after I'd gone AFK... I came back an hour after he did it and saw a notification that I had a kill right and a drake wreck where my can used to be...

The next day I used the kill right to kill his bomber + 500 million isk +5 pod.

Perhaps you should consider a *salvager* for your cleanup operations?

The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool. They lay. They rotted. They turned Around occasionally. Bits of flesh dropped off them from Time to time. And sank into the pool's mire. They also smelt a great deal.

Also combat sites will respawn fairly quickly once completed but unless these are nul combat anomalies, the respawn location is random. Also completed is different than emptied. If the site has all wrecks killed but remains, there may be a trigger structure that needs to be destroyed first.
