Anyone have thoughts/ experience on small corps/alliances getting blue status with the big alliances in null sec?

Seems like there might be some good advantages in that kind of arrangement , but probably also unknown disadvantages I might be unaware of.

In my experience, the best way to go about it is to become a serious thorn in their side. Then, when the big alliance starts to respect you and your tenacity, you start overtures towards blue status.

Without that healthy dose of respect, you will only be that "little" corp that they let tag along.

Renter corps can do it as well just as long as you are active with the big corp.

In the wiki they have a "Or 15mill SP" exception, so I am hopeful that that still applies. But if not, there are other 0.0 Alliances now I've decided to move into that space.
