No Safe Mode ???

i hit Play.. black scree wth lil blue circle spinning.. Nothing happens.. or am i to impatient.. i gave it like 5 min.. ?? is there Safe mode start i cant find it

If it's a new client or signin, then it was probably download on demand waiting for all the required packets to arrive on your end.

I've noticed this when I install on a new computer or sign in with a new character.

Look at the bottom left of the screen, at the base of the neocom. If there is a spinning circle, just wait.

Alternately, go the old way and turn download on demand off so you download the entire content.


And remember: there is no safe mode in Eve

Thanks.. But i guess no one will be seeing it.. i cant get EVE to go past the Play screen even set it to run in DX9 but no Go

Hmm, I just recently switched to the new launcher myself. For me the issue was a windows firewall notification that I didn't see because I play Eve in fullscreen mode. Another thing was that I used "download everything", but even after the launcher finished the download and signaled "ready", I restarted it and it began downloading some more stuff.
