Real simple:

Where do you build your components and ships? Lo-sec with a Thukker Array or null in an putpost? Or maybe in an NPC station to protect your assets?

I'm just wondering and thinking....

It's done in a Thukker's..

Don't bother searching mine. I gave up on that a while ago. Too much work.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

I do the really expensive stuff in an outpost in null, if you are blue to the owners the rates are usually very low.

We own several poses with full industrial arrays which I only use for research on cheaper bpo's.

Then there's the issue of moving said ships you just built, one at a time, or a freighter full.

But remember, if you use a pos and anyone else has access you could lose the lot, plus you need to think of the running costs and defending it.

I think the biggest downside to using a thukker in low is the m3 of the components. An me8 nyx at .85 material usage modifier is still 19.58 million m3 of components that need to be moved. (Numbers came from eve-industry.org)

Even spread out over time that is still dozens of jump freighter runs.

As far as d-scan says, and numbers of miners present, Providence is main cap manufacturing region.

Thukker for material reduction in lowsec. You can haul compressed ore to get around the volume concern assuming you have decent refing skills. Don't build to much at one time and only build super carriers if you have a group to defend it. Starbase defense for a few accounts should be enough to chase off the small gang of trick and treaters.

It is extremely annoying building anything capital related in POS arrays.

They are just so small.
