Massive lag outta nowhere

I've never had this problem before. Even on the initial character selection interface the lag makes the game unplayable. It seems like 1-2 fps. I have had no problems playing any other games, most of which are far more graphically intensive than EVE, nor have I changed my hardware, software or internet settings.

Do you have "Download Everything" checked in your launcher settings? (Launcher menu -> Settings... -> Download Everything.)

If not, try checking that box and seeing if pre-downloading all your assets helps.

Nope, Download Everything was not enabled.
Edit: Re-installing EVE and restarting the computer seems to have fixed it. Cheers Big smile
