Does anyone know if running combat sites is effected by the ship your

I don't know the mechanics of the chance drop but I was wondering if it is effected by what you use, in otherwords if you use something over powering your chance for a decent drop goes down?

Do running too many 'back to back' effect this?

I ran the expedition in a T-1 frig and got a decent drop so not sure if this is part of the mechanics.
