Here is a list of ideas of which eve online should look into expanding on..

- Multi-ship crew (Ships which require more man power to function.
- EW (SHORT AND LONG) Range Attacks. Modular which are built for up close and long range.
- Breakable Ships (Ships which can't be repaired but give insane roles for one time use)
- New Bounty System (Bounty Mission and Player Hunting)

- probably not feasable with EVE's setup and server mechanics
- that already exists in a way, damps work differently from ECM or TDs. Also most of them already work in falloff and as the different EW types have different optimal and falloff
- overheating works like that, having even more of such multipliers would probably break balance in hilarious ways
- yes please, then again CCP already changed it a while back and made it crap. It'll probably take them another 3 years before they'd consider touching it

1. The core code of EvE will not allow multiple players to occupy a single ship. CCP stated years ago that this simply would not be possible without a ground up re-write.
2. This already exists. If you're short range, use tracking disruptors. Long range, use damps. Basically, learn to use the proper EWAR in the proper circumstances.
3. Already covered by Vincent.
4. The bounty system has been covered, ad nauseam, in multiple existing threads. If you feel you have some input into this, try contributing to one of them. At the time of this post, there's a particularly bad one on the first page that you could hijack.

wrong that was fixed for citadels ^.^ here's hoping that fozzi does something good and gives us the carriers we wanted from the start

Was it? It is still only possible for 1 person to take control of a citadel.

Besides, multiple pilots to control a ship/station sounds fancy in theory... until that theory hits reality: You cannot launch your ship unless you have a full crew ready. That limits your readiness and takes lengthy, frustrating fleet readying preparations to a whole new level. What happens if someone disconnects mid-fight? That is more than likely in EVE, where accounts from the same location can disconnect randomly while others on the same computer stay online. What do you do if you cannot get enough people for the ship anyways? More alts online because window management is not that hard for experienced players.

oh no his idea is **** i was just pointing out they fixed the one pilot per "location" thing they needed to for citadels. as far as the server is concerned citadels are just big ships that can't move. I was mostly pointing out that if CCP had the time and rediscovered the drive they could make it so we can dock in other ships. considering they already have a massive rode plan if it was something they decided to do i couldn't see it happening for years :/


but yeah no, no one who actually spends time playing eve wants multi crew ships we have other games built around that to play

I am surprised no one has linked the bad ideas thread here.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.
