I cannot login using Eve Launcher

It only gives me an option to login, then says its wrong (no matter what I try)

OK, found what was wrong (a known CCP bug)

Now, it times out before I even login to the launcher....

yeah same issues, constant socket closed errors.
If you run ping -t client.eveonline.com you might see sporadic time outs as well.
