How to enjoy Factional Warfare?

Hello, I've been trying to enjoy it, deplexing when I'm tired and attacking some novice plexes, even joined a corporation that I thought they'd help me with plexing or at least prepare fleets for this.

All done is pvp fleets that I can't join because my skills, and well.

Am I doing something wrong or FW is horribly boring?

As everywhere else making ISK is mostly boring (few exceptions), but FW is all about the PvP fights ... if your corp excludes you from the fun and fleets because of skills, leave and find a better corp.

I'm my own NPC alt.

Agreed. You can take a day one rookie and put them into a fast tackle with just a couple hours of training. Yeah, you will probably die but fun will be had by all. I started FW in a Maulus, dampening targeting ranges of sniping Tornados, Rokhs and logi ships to generally **** them off. At no point was I excluded from flying with them due to any lack of skills I had. The real good corps will find a place for you and direct you where you need to go and what to do.

If your corporation tells you that you can't fly with them because of your lack of skills, they are elitist jerks and you should go somewhere else. Honestly, you won't learn a thing from them...

Always this. I know it is easy to think all corps are like your first corp, but they are not. Plenty of corps will welcome total newbies so long as you bring a good attitude, a point, and a cheap ship.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

I do agree with this...however...

Make sure you aren't just excluding yourself. A lot of times corps will say "get in X doctrine" and new players think, I can't fly X, I guess I can't join, when in reality they'd be happy to have one more person flying whatever they can to help. Just ask. If comms are busy and it doesn't seem appropriate to interrupt with a lot of questions, type your question in chat and see if there's anyone willing to private convo and help you get started in fleet pvp. Being too shy to participate can completely change the dynamic of the group for you.

If that's not the problem and they really don't want you to participate, find another group to join and kill them instead. Pirate

Could you perhaps clarify this? A lot of rookies seem to be under the impression that they cannot contribute to a fight unless their skills are perfect, and that is simply not the case. If your corp is keeping you out of fleets instead of finding ways to fit you in with smaller roles like tackle or e-war, then the problem is your corp, not your skills.

if you're not welcome on such fleets in a T1 EWAR frigate or newbro tackle boat, find a better corp.
if your corp doesn't have a supply of T1 EWAR and tackle boats they can hand out to newbros like confetti, find a better corp.
if your corpmates aren't helping you out, find a better corp.

you're part of the NPC Corporation you have to worry about your own side killing you as much as the enemy

trust issues is a common problem with faction Warfare they're most likely going to consider you a spy

that's why I personally devoid faction Warfare the first time I played this game it was completely terrible nobody trusted me with anything

it's less about skill it's more like trust issues

find a corporation it's in PvP elsewhere not faction Warfare you're more likely to get some action and support
