LOL! I do go into nullsec and I do get ganked each time.
This little game is not a place where you need to man up, it's a baby game, ROFL Roll
Actually, I take that back, its unfair to the more mature players.
It's not a baby game, it's just another MMO, a pixel addition to life, nothing more.
Confusing courage with just playing a game is very juvenile.

The real world is the place where manning up needs to be done even though that phrase is laughable.
Until you've had your face split open by a baseball bat and continued swinging afterward, you have no place telling me to man up.
Been there, done way more, lol.

Damn right ! Lots of people seem to think that you meed to grow some balls and get to null/low sec to be a man in this game,
Being mature is admitting that people have different ways of playing the game. If im happy doing lvl 4s in dodixie all day, that doesnt make me less mature than the guy with -10 sec stat (ive been that ******* too) or the wormhole guy.

They make gaming a big-d**k contest

Rocco siffredi would have been mining in a retriever all day if he played eve im pretty sure of that

Did you just chastise someone for taking pride in their ingame skills. On a forum dedicated to the game they're playing. Which you also play.

Yeah, unfortunately I'm ashamed to be a gamer.
It's the one addiction in my life that I haven't managed to shake for close to 40 years, lol.
To be clear, it's not a slur on mature players, only those who love to belittle others over it.
Like the guy I slammed for trolling me Big smile

This is a definite weakness in my character and I'll readily admit it.

Yeah mate i'm sure you're hard as nails like everyone else on the internet. My point still stands, it's not the game that gets you killed in nulsec, it's your ineptitude.

Man Up.. Sunshine.

Its more the gank culture of null that kills you in null. Its virtually impossible to get a fight you can win since everyone will flee if you have equal number, or its a 1 v 1 unless they have a vastly superior ship.

The majority of the time people going out to null to check the waters will run into a gatecamp with can be 2 or 3 people up to 100's of people. They will die and then decide its not worth going out there. They're largely right. Nowhere to dock, no market, nothing much to do out there except get ganked, unless you know what you're doing already.

Take a look at my alts killboard - L Dopa - I fly him around solo trying to get fights. Almost always in a caracal, cerb, drake or command ship and I'd like to say 9 times out of 10, but more like 99 times out of 100, no one will attack him unless they're at least 5 people or more.

So who really has no balls? The ganking null seccers too scared to risk their space pixels unless they have an enormous advantage or the guys going out there solo to check it out and get ganked... my moneys on the latter.

CCP Fozzie “We can see how much money people are making in nullsec and it is, a gigantic amount, a shit-ton… in null sec anomalies. “*

Yeah, it's becoming very apparent that there are players in this game with big mouths and no balls, lol.
I'm betting the loudest hecklers would be too scared to take you on 1 vs 1 Blink They'd need to bring their buddies, lol.
But , i guess thats the mindset of these gang thugs.

Care Bears are people that think low and null are scary places to be and that they will die....
Or people like code only doing easy no risk things.

I for one think Empire is one of the most scary places in eve because most of the time there is no direct way to fight back if someone would like to kill you there.

Why risk losing a ship when an uninvited guest wants an honobru space fight on their time, not yours?

Sending overwhelming odds is supposed to send a message that you are not welcome and need to leave, not an invite to fight.

Things haven't really changed since 4 years ago eh ?

A carebear is simply a person who wants EVE to be safe and denies ALL form of player interaction at his leisure.
And that is wrong period. EVE is a persistent universe where ships and pods blow up all the time.
Take that away and it is no longer EVE.

Anyhow the most fat and richest high sec mission runners / miners / freighter accept that they will be ganked eventually.
That is part of protocol. Anything you fly is considered a loss.
Your job is to make sure you make a profit or worth your while before you inadvertently lose it.

Or alternatively fly safe (at least try to fit a tank) or don't pimp your stuff.
Either way PvP is here to stay in EVE.

I just can't wait to see how CCP handles the crap storm when the F2P hits.

We see misplaced low sec "solo pvprs" in our space all the time. The get introduced either to one of the Standing fleets of mad miners/ratter, or the Vale Police fleet. LOW SEC and Jita Duels is the place for all that 1v1 crap. Coming into our space that we fought for and maintain and expecting space honorable combat is like breaking into someone's house and challenging them to a wrestling match in their living room.

You break into my house expecting 1v1, you end up experiencing 1vAsManyShotgunsAndGlocksWeCanReachBeforeYouGetSmoked.

And that's how you get fleets of bad pilots.
Instead of trying to learn how to counter with one or two ships, the opportunity to learn how to fight is squandered.

If you blob,
Short term gain: pest removed from house.
Long term loss: fleet doesn't learn how to do anything but F1 monkey.

If you don't,
Short term loss: more pests come looking for fights.
Long term gain: Fleet isn't so helpless when it has to deal with something which might actually hurt it.

I never said go back to high sec, I don't want anyone to go back to high sec. I also don't care if people leave High sec for low, null, or wormholes, as long as they leave high sec.

I don't know about you, but I would not join a null ratting corp to learn how to PvP.

The mindset that more pests come looking for fights if we fight back is sometimes true and sometimes isn't. It depends on how they got to us, and where they live. We have some daily visitors, and there are groups we have only seen once.

Great idea. I would LOVE to see a 'Carebear' tag on portraits with numerous PvE losses. It would look something like the 'Wanted' brand on portraits of characters with bounties.

Zappity's Adventures for a taste of lowsec and nullsec.

Not exactly useful when the ships are disposable and already vaporised by Concord.

Also not useful when say you're docking in Jita in your buzzard and a random thrasher insta pops you and his alt scoops then docks to wait out timer.

The excuse you have is the same tired old one all pro gankers give while secretly or not so secretly knowing there is no real way to counter the alt ganker. Even if you manage to activate a kill right and gank him back it'll just be a max 10 mill disposable gank ship that'll never make up the damage you sustained.

I know that to many your stupidity was confirmed a long time ago, but it doesn't take much research to find out I'm not a ganker, but an industrialist.

Yea lol.

Some people can't understand that the counter to gankers is not to get ganked and/or to leverage the power of groups. Some how the majority manages this.
