The latest economic report is ready! As usual it contains all sort of stats and interesting information about the economy in New Eden.

Please check out CCP Quant's latest Monthly Economic Report - August 2016.

Also feel free to check out the raw data - maybe you want to dive deeper into certain aspects of the economy and compile (and share) your own interesting graphs?

While I definitely like the in-game notice, the link it provides goes to a bad URL.

For clarification:
Are the "Brokers Fees" purely NPC or is a lot of this ISK just going to Fortizar owners and the like?

I am refering to ISK sinks and faucets page.

So, with only 500B removed in August total, are we about to turn from deflation to inflation again?

Only if the number of players isn't also growing, and the amount of physical assets isn't growing also.
Inflation is more than just an increase in money.

How will active Isk Delta be tracked with Alpha clones? Since in theory every account ever made suddenly will become active again.
What metric will you use to separate out such accounts.

Considering that EVE is pretty resource rich by now, and that people keep producing resources on the whole, I would say that physical assets keep increasing no matter what.

As such, unless there's a certain amount of new people that produce ISK, but are asset poor, prices will generally trend down.

I asked in the last thread but think nobody was watching it. Which one represents the blue loot buy orders being fulfilled?

How much in terms of item value was moved to safety after the destruction of the first couple of market Fortizars in Perimeter, Ashab, Niyabainen, New Caldari and other areas.
What's the trade value/volume in the high sec market Fortizars compared to such in Low/Null sec?

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

I would love to see some WH numbers:

  1. Kills in WH by class
  2. Production in WH over time by class
  3. Mining in WH including / excluding Gas
  4. Citadels installed / class

Any chance we get a look at this?

Commodities. It also includes a few other things but the vast bulk of that is WH Blue loot.

From last figures I saw CCP release WH's are about 10% of all mining value done in EVE. High was 40ish, Null was also 40ish, Low & WH filled the rest in.

Summary from EVE Prosper is posted now.

Individual values across the board look good enough, but it's hard to shake the feeling the month-to-month rates are too slow.

Very much hoping September's numbers look significantly better than Augusts.

What is this alliance registration fee of 97 bil.
I see that on all reports, but not sure what that is.

My summary of the August Economic Report is on my Blog: MarketsforIsk

The summer lull continues but is perhaps coming to the end. Trade is down 49% since the February peak - Eve does seem to go through deep Trade cycles. The player base, whilst less active, did manage to generate healthy surplus ISK which worked its way into the Plex market.

Good question, we'll have to re-define active ISK. My current definition is something along the lines of: If an account has not been logged into for 30 days, it is inactive. This will present some discontinuity between the pre- and post-CSA economic reports, but lets see how this goes.

Brokers Fees (ISK) going to Fortizar owners still remains in the economy(in the hands of players), i.e. those aren't sinks. The only sinks would be broker fees going to NPCs.

This is a part of the Commodity (NPC Market), which also contains e.g. Overseers effects. I'll look into ways to break this up.

I might be able to add trade hubs to the reports... I ran into some unicode issues with their names though :)

I'd love to include WH stats, but we have to find a proper way of doing it without breaking immersion, W-Space isn't under concord surveillance :)
