Out of Pod Experience

The only way you'll be getting 600 DPS in a Confessor is in the wormholes that are bonused for small weapons.

The Svipul is the choice of just about everyone because it's overpowered as ****.

People always round up their numbers, but even then you'd need the damage implants, drugs and links to get there. And you'd be sacrificing the tank for Heat Sinks. I tend to take peoples numbers with a pinch of salt, as I can't imagine 600dps coming out of the damn thing.

But the Confessor is a spot different to the other T3D's in that using a plate or extenders is not the fashion, it can be flown exactly like an Imperial Navy Slicer, which is how I will fly it in PvP. Or you can put a ruddy great tank on the thing, though that tends to cost a little more.

For PvE I am using a cap stable double rep fit, with pulses it does 360dps unheated with gleam and with beams it does 263 dps unheated with gleam. However I am not using a heatsink, as I've swapped that out for a Nano. So you can make it go further, but it's purely made for 3/10 and 4/10 DED. (I've only got Amarr Tactical Destroyer 3, so missing +20% damage still).

But T3D's are not particularly overpowered, I am not a fan of the Svipul as the fitting room is dreadful, and I've heard rumours that their will be further nerfs on it in November. Which I can imagine will send it the way of the rifter, looking at last year it was overpowered. With the ability to fit 10MN afterburner + massive tank giving you great speed and tiny sig + big tank and still able to use the biggest small projectile turrets.

They nerfed powergrid on the Svipul since, so now they have to choose whether to go fast, or tank or use the big guns.

I don't think it's particularly OP now, but most people will of trained for it. So it will be the most populous T3D. Unlike their Cruiser variants, the Tactical Destroyers are just viable Destroyers. As T1 Dessies are just subpar ships, unless in a group.

Imho it'll definitely be better when every ship in EvE loses their untouchable links.

Gratz on completing the DED site and getting some good loot. Bummer on getting blown up and loosing it.

Most gate camps are fairly easy to get through after jumping into system, especially with cloak. I just locate a celestial object inline to the front of my ship, select warp to 100 and activate cloak. If needed after landing I'll pick another celestial object and warp to that. By then I'm able to continue on with my route. I always use 'Jump' option when warping to gates unless I'm in Null Sec, then I warp to a celestial at 100, then do the same with the gate, check for bubbles and plan my route accordingly.

My GPU died and we have a religious feast in my country for 9 days.All PC repairshops are closed.I can't launch and play games during that period. Bummer.

Mad Max: Fury Road without CGI This is spectacular, some amazing practical effects, I wish more movies did practical effects as they look so much better than CGI when done correctly.

This no CGI clip reminds me of Mad Max: Road Warrior which has some amazing effects too.
