Celebratory Rewards Coming For November Expansion!
The arrival of Clone States as part of a massive expansion in November draws near, and with it come rewards and opportunities for you! Maintain an active subscription from now until the November expansion and your name will be on the list for celebratory gifts including a Gnosis exploration battlecruiser plus SKIN, a special edition armor suit, a goggles set, and more.

Clone States – Post Announcement Follow-up - Feedback
After the Clone States announcement on August 31, EVE players, future EVE players and media engaged in a massive discussion about what this feature would mean for New Eden. This has been fantastic to see and now we are just eager to get the details right as we move towards that November release. We have collected common feedback, questions and concerns - check the blog for further info!

EXEFILE Login To Be Discontinued On September 20th - Feedback
The ability to log into EVE directly by using the exefile.exe file from the EVE\sharedcache\%servername%\bin\ folder will be removed. This change is currently planned to be implemented on September 20th. After this date, you need to use the launcher to log into EVE. CCP Goliath has answers for frequently asked questions, please read them too if you are concerned.

More Matigu Seabeast SKINs now available
Matigu Seabeast SKINs with their fashionable green and dark-steel colored pattern, are now available in the New Eden Store. This also includes SKINs for Caldari capital ships.

Patch notes for September release "YC 118.8"
The patch notes for the next release, to be deployed on September 13, have been published. The patch notes also contain links to further information with details about specific changes, for example the mining barge revamp.

EVE: Valkyrie - Early concept art for PlayStationVR Founder’s Pack Flight Suit and S4 Wraith
We are partnering with Sony to publish EVE: Valkyrie as a physical retail disc for the launch of PlayStation VR on 13th October, 2016. The EVE: Valkyrie PlayStation VR Founder’s Pack contains, among other things, also the ‘S4 Wraith’ fighter and a special flight suit. We just have released some concept art for those items, check it out!

New EVE theme "Freedom At Last"
Again, CCP RealX delivers epic space music! This time we can listen to the new theme "Freedom At Last" for the EVE Online release "118.8", which is being deployed on September 13.

Imperial Guard confirms rumors of thwarted attack in Throne Worlds
Several decks of the Emperor Family Bureau in orbit of the second moon of Kehour VIII remain sealed off to the public this afternoon, after a failed chemical attack against Imperial Guard personnel based on board the station. According to a spokeswoman for the Emperor Family "three chemical devices were placed and subsequently detonated around an atmosphere handling and processing plant on board the station’s mid-level service deck." The station is home to both Emperor Family civilian administrative personnel and a division of more than two hundred thousand Imperial Guard military personnel....

I have read a patch note for YC118.8.
It is good that you adjust camera animation in the hangar that nobody likes, but we really need Custom Tracking Position or better algorithm for the camera with dynamic offset and autotracking. And we need Dynamic Offset, Dynamic FOV, Docking/Hangar animation as separate toggles.
Alliance Tournament XIV starting soon and competitors will have to struggle with your unfinished camera!

CCP's sand box is EVE Online.  The sand is owned by CCP.  We pay them a monthly fee to throw the sand at each other.  That is all that is here, so move along. Nothing more to be seen.

Question for CCP Falcon (et al) though....

When will our yearly celebratory rewards be coming for those that purchased the Box set and hold a mystery code? That was promised to purchasers to be a YEARLY thing and after that one CCP dev left your employment, it has completely fallen by the wayside this year it seems. A promise is a promise - a few months left until the end of 2016...there are many of us watching and waiting."
