What makes us different from the rest of these fledgling corporations and alliances?

Nothing.

All corporations advertising here are basically the same, and heres why:

Established leadership.
Teamspeak Server (or mumble/vent/discord)
A website (Yippie, I feel so special)
A plan as to where the corporation is expected to be in a years time
Drama, no one wants drama, an regardless of any corporation I have been in, drama always occurs
Too small (nothing to do)
Too big (nowhere to go, your basically an F1 pawn)
Empty promises
Etc ...

I have been around for a few years, took a break for a while. When I came back, I literally looked at this forum and picked the first couple of corporations that weren't massive and started checking them out. New/old players are really only interested in the following:

Are you active?

Yes we are, currently we are migrating from a mining/PVP corporation, to a strictly PVP corporation. Do we have setbacks, well yes we aren't as large as we would like, but you should have figured that out already, after all, that is why this post is here ;)

Can I make ISK?

The short answer, yes. We are located in a nice small doughnut, were it is safe to rat, and if you are special, we also have space to mine, but its frowned upon. We are a PVP corp.
The long answer. We are currently negotiating for PERMANENT space, and are doing well, but we would like to do better, and this is where you come into the picture. We want to get more people active in fleets, and by fleets I do not mean CTA's. But I do mean home defence, pew pew. As well as fun roams.

Are you PG-13?

I would say we are a hard "R". We aren't vulgar or rude, but we do speak our minds. So swearing is not only allowed, its typically encouraged. However, we don't tolerate berating your alliance or corp mates. Mistakes happen, so we will laugh at each others mistakes, but our goal is to play the game together, so we don't want to drive you away.

Are you dicks?

Only when we choose to be, for the most part, we are a friendly group of people just looking to play the game and have fun. We don't tolerate drama, but this is EVE, so drama always ensues.

I am a miner can I join?

Yes, but your main character, must be dedicated to PVP. You are welcome to have as many alts as you like mining, but when we say jump in this ship. We don't want to hear a sob story about mining.

What do you expect from me?

We expect you to be active, but we also know real life is #1, just give us a heads up if you won't be on for a while, and no explanation is needed.
We expect you to have a training queue focused on PVP skills, with a minor in PVE. This means training towards ships we fly, as well as building up your core skills.
We do have a training guideline in place, it does not need to be strictly followed, but it is highly recommended. This is more for new players, older players, we really don't give two flying beavers. Just come out and have fun.

I only have X million SP, can I join?

Disclaimer: the following SP limits only apply to skills in PVP, any skills trained for mining/industry/research/trade, will not be counted towards your SP limit. This means if you have 40 millions SP, and its all in mining/industry, you will not pass go, you will not collect 200 million isk.
We have a hard SP cut off limit of 5 million SP.
If you are less than 10 million SP, you will need to follow our training guidelines to ensure you have adequate skills to fly this ships we fly.
If you are less than 20 million SP, the training guidelines, become more of a suggestion.
If you have more than 20 million SP, just ensure you have PVP ships here to fly and when able, continue training your PVP skills.
