How about a effect that appears prior to a ship exiting warp?

This is a random video I found on youtube, just to give you the idea Exiting warp

The effect doesnt have to be huge but if you have several ships inside the same warp bubble the effect should get bigger.

If you're reading this then that means my time travel worked

I'm suprised this hasn't been added already. It's one of those things you take for granted and they're important to the looks and feeling of this game!

Have a look at the Babylon 5 warp-exit stuff, its similar but better looking.

Having said that, Warping in EVE is not shifting into another dimension; different universes entirely :)

That might be the case but a sweet looking effect of a ship exiting warp is too cool to pass on!

OP's link looks more like a jumpdrive to me.

Have a look at the incursion cinematic trailer for what we need here (the Sansha mothership dropping out of warp).

BTW I'd like to add that the acceleration and deceleration are a way to slow. To the point that increasing warp speed on ships is mostly irrelevant, because they very rarely travel at maximal velocity. This should be fixed.

Edit: almost forgot! Sisi had a red and blue shift effect when accelerating and decelerating at some point. Please implement that on tranquility.

I'd agree with the warp acceleration/deceleration being more abrupt like shown in the vid, not sure how much of a change to the mechanics that would require but it would look better I believe.
