Hello!

I am trying to do one of the career missions for Houvre Raennere, and it requires I mine in 0.8sec space (Clellinon) until pirates show up, and I try to destroy them for a traitor. However, it has been almost 2 days, and I don't see any pirates. Am I doing something wrong?

(Also, I can't seem to post anywhere except in the Q&A section. I don't see any sort of rule preventing me, is it a limitation for new accounts?)

That mission has a half dozen or so kernite rocks - worth mining as a new player. A single rat should show up well before you finish the first asteroid. Make sure you are in the mission pocket - not a regular belt . File a petition if the rat doesn't show up - the GM's will reset the mission.

Edit: Trial accounts are restricted to New Citizen Q&A. If you subscribe you will have access to the entire forum. That will probably change in November when the Alpha clones are released.

Thanks! I was mining in asteroid belts around there, not the actual location he wanted.

It's a limitation for trial accounts. To stop people creating lots of free trials and spamming the whole forum.

Mission Successful! However later he asked me to get materials for a ship blueprint and I died piloting my only mining ship the Venture Sad. Oh well, I guess that's what happens when you play EVE.
