Mission loot and spawns

I love doing missions but it's the same thing over and over again.. Here are a few ideas to make things more interesting and exciting!

Loot

Implement a chance of looting faction mods from every ship in that mission. Obviously the percentage must be really low so that they're not looted all the time. The cheaper modules should be dropped more often and the more expensive ones should be more rare and they should not all be available to loot just to keep some modules rare.

Spawns

Add more randoms spawns in mission so to make it more unique because every mission is the same and it's getting dull. Nothing much just another ship or two with diffrent names and a increased chance of dropping valuable loot!

What else?

I think most of us have had that experience in EvE where you loot a expensive module and that feeling of joy lasted for days if not weeks! The only happy moment i've experienced with my months of missioning is when I looted a implant worth 50mil compared to one of those days while I was exploring I looted modules worth 300mil and that lasted me for days, made me eager to play EvE again.
I suggest we implement that feeling of expectation and excitement to missioning!

I realize some serious balancing issues between missioning, exploring and hauling might happend by merely adding this to the game.. If it's necessary to lower meta 1-4 modules (reduced overall profit from missions) drop in a mission to balance this out I think it's worth it!

Fly safe! Cool

Stop running missions, start doing exploration?

*Although I agree with adding random spawns to spice stuff up a bit. But yeah, adding faction/deadspace drops effects exploration too much. Maybe adding them to level 5s and adjusting the payouts accordingly would be ok, but getting deadspace mods for HS missions would probably flood market with small deadspace mods, thereby killing HS exploration.

I've tried but the scanning is just too dull.

Scanning is dull, yet you'll run missions? Lol

I dunno, I quite enjoy it. If only for that moment of "ooooooh, UNKNOWN!!!! IS IT A..... FUUUUUUUU, it's a wormhole.".

Then again I scan quite fast with maxed skills and virtues xD

lol that's it exactly! it's those damn wormholes that does it!

Anyway I much prefer spending my time doing missions and shooting at stuff even though i've done it several times before rather than doing a lot of scanning and suffer through a lot of disappointments Sad

Tbh I think it depends largely on where you are scanning, in HS you will likely always be disappointed. However running a specific route in low sec, keeping track of the crap signatures and running the route again every now looking for new ones will mean you find the rated sites numerous times a day.

There's no risk in the current missions. If anything they should mix up the spawns a bit more, and add more T2 tackler/ewar ships, or even logistics. Also random "distress" escalations would make things interesting where a scout or commander has a chance to call in a small spawn of reinforcements. Upon completing a mission objective, have a chance for a super spawn is considerably more risky, but also would tack on an extra bonus to the mission reward.

Loot in general should be drastically reduced in missions, but the quality of the loot should be upgraded to include more meta modules. It would be interesting to see what portion of the minerals in game are provided by reprocessed modules.

Given that missions provide LP that can be exchanged for faction loot, I don't think drops in a mission are the way to go.

Expect nothing, never be disappointed.

As for your ideas, they need to be applied to missions, wormholes, exploration and incursions (basically all pve with triggers). Triggers should be 100% random.

Bah expecting nothing would make the game pointless imo..

Anyway, I didn't mean for the triggers to be 100% random because that would make mission with a lot of triggers nearly impossible unless you have a way of spotting which ones which. What I meant was a random spawn with a few ships.
