One of the things i like about eve is the lack of children...
I dont like F2P players... they have been nothing but a cancer on the paying customer base...
CCP is going to drive out a lot of the older players over time with this... the ones with credit cards that have good jobs and pay for multiple accounts and plexes...

You don't like young people, you don't like new players, and you don't like poor people.
I propose that you become the big boss at CCP. I'm looking forward to see how many players will be left in your paradise for elitist rich old men.

Dont take my words out of context them twist them and use it as if i said it. But if you want to go there...

Young people- Most young people are immature because that is the nature of being young. I do not wish to play an MMO with a bunch of immature young people. It is one of the reasons i have played eve for a decade. I dont socialize with kids outside of the game, why would i want to in a game, when i specifically go for games that have few to no kids in them.

I took my wife to a winery yesterday. We sat down for lunch. They had a baby shower in the private party room( stupid place to have a baby shower). Brought their kids with them. Kids ran rampant around the winery while the inattentive mothers were busy playing baby shower games and getting wasted on wine.

I dont go to a winery to eat lunch so i can have kids running around the dining room/tasting area. If i wanted that experience i would go to chuck E cheese. I expect the same service from CCP and Eve that i expect at a winery and for 10 years i have gotten that service. Now CCP wants to turn my winery into a chuck-e-cheese.

New players- Have nothing against them. I have no strong feelings on new players one way or another and often help them and answer questions.

Poor people- F2p arent necessarily poor. Many people are under the belief that they are ENTITLED to play a game for free. Its not so much as they cannot afford the game as they dont think they should have to pay for it. These are always the ones that complain about having to pay a sub fee. " Its stupid to have to pay a sub to use something" Tell that to your mobile phone company, your cable company, your ISP, or your electric company and see how far that gets you.

They are also the ones that complain the most about everything, they act the worst in game, and tend to be generally trashy with bad attitudes. But what do i know, ive only been playing MMOs since Bill Clinton was president.

However poor people shouldnt be playing eve...or video games in general. Eve is cheap. $15 a month. That is two meals at a fast food restaurant. A medium/large pizza. Not even one meal for 1 person at a decent restaurant. Not even half a tank of petrol/gas in your car. Hell in england you cant even get a quarter tank of petrol for the sub price of Eve.

If you cant afford $15 a month for eve, then you have severe financial problems you should be focusing on, not playing eve. Like your at the point of " do i pay my water bill this month or buy ramen noodles? " Even if you are poor, Eve will be at most 3-4 hours of wages. And if its any more than that then you probably live in a country in which only rich people own computers with regular internet service and you are rich so it shouldnt be an issue anyway.

I choose EvE.

Your friend's kid is an exception. Personally I am nervous that many kids that act badly will come into EvE. I play two F2P games and the players in those are so annoying I muted all players as I don't want to hear their foolishness. I am concerned there could be many of these in EvE. Players in EvE don't care if you are 15 or 51 if you are not acting badly.

True. Most F2P games I've tried all have horrible communities. There are nice people everywhere, but on the forums you have to wade through a couple pages of insults to find them, and nothing seems to spawn more hate that to actually like a game feature.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

I don't know what Alpha clones are.

Unless you RP, outside of looks of your character there really isn't any difference between the races. You can fly any race's ships and you can join any militia regardless of your character's race etc... so there is no functional difference.

Other than that I checked out on the text wall pretty early on as it seemed like a lot of theoretical mumbo jumbo from someone trying to tell me what they think the game might be like before they have even tried it. The devs might care about your initial impression buy as a regular in this section of the forum I feel my job here is to answer more practical questions.

I'm not trying to deride you for posting your opinion more just pointing out that I did not see much of a question so don't be surprised if you don't see much in the way of answers. However if you did have a question that got lost in the text wall try posting just the question.

Other than that welcome to Eve and have fun.

Sorry there isn't more question here. I would have liked to post directly to the Dev board but I am on a Trial account so this is what I had access to. Rookie input on the proposed ALPHA CLONE idea is something the Devs should have. It was my hope that other Rookies would put their thought on it here too.

No problem. I just wanted to make sure that I was not missing a question in there somewhere.
