Artemis Tyrannos - Lux Kontos

Got to love this Artemis Tyrannos with his Lux Kontos.

My Rattlesnake was holding him perfectly well until i shot through his shields. Next second I'm in my pod crying over what I lost and didn't know he actually pod's one as well.

Does anyone actually know the full DPS amount of that Lux Kontos device or whatever he shoots because he hit me incredibly hard with one shot which I can only guess is a doomsday device?

The elite drifter battleship superweapon activates when you break through their shields, and can one-shot a carrier.

Artemis Tyrannos's drifter battleship is equipped with two shield layers. Upon the depletion of the first, it will release a doomsday esque blast against any one capsuleer fighting it. It can and has blown up capital ships in one shot with it. I recommend bringing friends and trying again.

they indeed have a DD fitted.
only ships able to tank them are capitals or a shiny paladin with links Cool

often people use a cheap ship to get the aggro of the DD, bringing the real dps/ships after it used the dd

Just a quick FYI, but a little back the DD's were changed to have tracking. If you can get some small fast ships setup and orbit it real fast then you may just be able to dodge the DD.

However you may die to the sheer power of the regular guns. And no point bringing logi as they will primary that.

Would they be able to track frig logi?

If you bring enough of that... well, it's a good thing drifters don't ragepost about how logi is ruining the game.

I've killed these battleships, shame they don't show up on your KB.

I am tempted to try tanking one of these with a proper fitted Bustard.
I just won't have the DPS to break through the shield.
