The dev who originally conceived the idea and pushed it has since left, and it tends to fall to the way-side nowadays. Honestly, CCP would probably be better-off by nixing the entire thing at this point. Put out one last gift with it (something along the lines of a "Stolen CONCORD Keycode" or the like whose description mentions it now being deactivated) instead of having people asking about it every few weeks.

Not a bad idea. I don't really care what they do but saying you are going to reiterate on something then 6 months later still nothing is done is lame.

I realize Falcon is overworked and probably underpaid and CCP move their people around like their playing the shell game but throw us a bone.

As an industrialist who makes his living via T2 invention, the idea makes me shudder.
As a person who enjoys reading the drama that EVE generates, the idea makes me giddy.

CCP should give one final item out. A 'ticket' redeemable for any single in game item.

They have given out clothing, and some items are still not on the market, like arm implants that dont have left/right version available on Tranquility, what the hell is holding them?

The code was given as part of the 10th Anniversary Collector's edition.

It relates to an anniversary.

Thus perhaps the code should be awarded / redeemed around EVE anniversary?

Not at other weird times throughout the year.

That would solve a few issues:

Devs would know when they need to address the code.

Players would know when they need to look to redeem it.

People who ask about it could be told to stfu until the anniversary which is May 6th.
