as a side note, nLock helped me through this issue in another thread recently. nLock was replying to my duplicate question about the issue here, and this was a facetious re-enactment of the exchange. I am satisfied with nLock's help and should have remembered to come back and edit my post after my question was answered elsewhere.

Hey.

My launcher keeps deleting all accounts on the list every time I reopen it, meaning I have to log them all in again. This only seems to have happened since I made a new trial account. Not sure if this is a bug with the launcher or just a trial account punishment.

my 3 stats wo make me crazy since 2 days in the picture

red messages about not logged in accouts after i came from suspend to disk with win7 as every day
hit refresh as every day
all accounts done
last picture on the right show how it even was.. all accounts pinned all accounts auto log in
it should work
i fixed permissions i startet as admin its not funny anymore!

SO wtf in hell is the problem to get some log in informations right without making the players crazy
i even helped in the launcher beta and had to sit here for weeks to wait for the launcher delay slider to work
get you stuff workin!
you need about 300mb ramspace for this litte bit stuff and it doesnt work right!
in the old days full AAA titel games was in 300mb and we play for weeks now it cant get few log in informations right and working!

Having the same problem - my pinned accounts keep getting forgotten when reopening the launcher.

I have never had any issues with playing Eve Online until today. The launcher acts like it is going to start my game then it has a red box with diolog " The client for ..........has topped working unexpectedly " and it does nothing. I have tried uninstall and fresh install 3 times and no luck. What have you guys done to break the game now?

Guys,

I just started playing the game and, although it is great eye-candy, it SUCKS from a game control perspective. The narrative/tutorial is useless. It kept telling me to do things ... but gave me NO CLUE how to do them. So, while I was pushing buttons trying to figure out "well, maybe THIS button is what she's talking about" I managed to get: 1) Stuck with my face orbiting an engine part floating in space, while 2) raiders blew me to bits.

Seriously. The tutorial needs work. A. Lot. Of. Work.

My redeeming bar is missing from launcher and I cannot redeem my Plex to my player can I fix it or is it a CCP fix

ok I just upgraded my launcher and all I get is this invisible outline of the window and cant see anything inside of it,
the old one was working just fine except the annoying this is not the right vesion please get the new version.
so I even uninstalled and removed the cache and ran the new launcher programmer installer and I still just get this invisible window.
what do I do now?

This really isn't clear. Auto-login to me means you will just auto-log in to the game, not your account.

You should clarify this so I'm not pinning my accounts thinking it's doing something. Perhaps pinning an account comes with a pop-up asking them to verify that they want them to be logged in or something. Right now it's redundant and confusing.

The old system worked well.

I have exactly the same problem. However, the problem seems to be provoked by the computer sleeping.

If I exit eve launcher completely and sleep/wake the computer, then restart eve launcher, then everything is fine.

If I leave eve launcher running in the background (as it is supposed to be, right?!) then I have a 100% guaranteed failure rate after returning after the computer went to sleep.

Up until the last update, this was sort-of working. Sleep/wake would cause the annoying red boxes, but a refresh got rid of them. After the most recent change, Sleep/wake causes the red boxes *and* clears the saved accounts.

I have the same problem on both Win7 and WIn10. My network is set to DHCP and IPv6 autoconf. There are a brief few seconds after wakeup when there is no network connectivity. I have been meaning to test the theory that this is involved but have not got around to it yet.

When I type in credentials for one of my accounts, I want the launcher to give me a list of all my accounts. That's what happened in some previous launcher versions, and apparently, that's what the new Pin option does. However, the launcher says that pinning an account is insecure.
But the term "insecure" is quite vague and I would like to know what it really means. Does it merely mean "if someone hacks one of your accounts and logs in on the same computer they will get access to all your accounts" (I'm fine with that since that's something that's not likely to happen), or it means something more serious, like "this will store your username and password in plain text on this computer" (that's something I might not want)?

Workarounds are not bugfixes.

The first scenario is correct. The launcher stores a refresh token, not the password.

If you suspect someone obtained that token from your machine, you can invalidate it from the account management page, under account activity. It is also invalidated if you change your password.

This is getting quite frustrating, heh. As others have mentioned the saved accounts are getting deleted at random. I had just added back over 20 accounts yesterday and once again today they are all gone. It's been about 6 times now I've had to add them all back.

Is there some kind of dev acknowledgment of this issue? As I see a lot of "solutions" being thrown around but no actual acknowledgment of the issue itself. For now I will stick to using the old 3rd party solution for logins as this just isn't worth the effort. Please do keep us up to date as to when this issue has been resolved.

Make sure the accounts are pinned, otherwise the launcher will not store them.

wont update to new version ***348.. It downlads new binaries but after restart says it downladed new version, restarts again an d goes in circle.. did good updates on 3 comps and on 4th has this problem..

pls advise..
