And we also need to know what we can do to support you as a wave of new players come to the game looking for a home.

This is a critical opportunity to get an influx of new and returning roleplayers. Don't blow it please. We need an official online collection of the Prime Fiction again.
Don't make us tell the new players "well CCP deleted most of the lore but you can still find some of it on these third-party websites..." That'd be the most efficient way to turn roleplayers off the game.

Seconding the call for conspicuous prime fiction.

Just throwing it out there: maybe a sale on the Source eBook when the November patch hits?

Definitely in agreement here, even if they aren't the sort to get into role-play many people enjoy reading through the lore or make an initial choice based on lore - hell many people are brought in by the lore.

So we shouldn't abandon or hide it. :)

I do hope CCP gives the lore atleast SOME love...

I wouldnt be surprised if there are gonna be many players who are drawn in by the lore and then just starve to death because you have to go verry far out of your way to find all that juicy stuff.

There needs to be way more in game, thrown in your face, or atleast pointed towards.

I would love to see more lore again, me too I was hooked back in the day mainly by the lore and history of the EvE Universe ^^

I'm not sure if this is the one you're looking for: https://community.eveonline.com/backstory/fiction/
There are some fictions and in a link in the same page what looks like all the chronichles they wrote.

But yes, most of the lore I think is still missing.

We really need this.. EVE has a very unique universe but it often feels incomplete or unsupported. CCP should do everything it can to revitalize the game for these new players, and every game must have a story.

Only the liberty of the individual assures the prosperity of the whole. And this foundation must be defended.

At any cost

Didn't help that much of the lore takes place where we can't really go to participate in.

I'm looking at you, planetside content!

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

The official Chronicles Page is incomplete. 13 chronicles - exactly the chronicles of the three years 2012, 2013 and 2014 - are missing. They have originally been published on the EVElopedia and when they shut it down they got lost from the EVE-Online page. Luckily there are hostings of the EVElopedia which therefore have copies of those chronicles, for example here (items 216-228 are the missing chronicles). If you sort the official page from newest to oldest chronicle those 13 chronicles belong between the second ("Testament") and the third ("Breathing Space") chronicle.

I don't know why they didn't add these missing chronicles to the official chronicle page after the EVElopedia had been closed. It seems like a very simple task of not much more than one or two hours of work to create 13 pages, basically just copy the html of the chronicle text over, maybe reformat a bit and add links on the overview page. But priorities are certainly somewhere else. If I were one of the authors of those 13 chronicles I could imagine to be slightly angry. They are all great, worth a read and the writers obviously have put considerable effort into them and some of them are among the most detailed and extensive chronicles. And it's not that the players are not interested to read them.

Or let's assume, as an author I would be either angry about my work going the way of the EVElopedia, OR I would know that ALL chronicles will come back in all their glory on a new shiny backstory portal - at some point in time. Hope the latter is the case and that point in time is not so far away!

However, CCP's silence about their plans - if they exist - is sometimes a bit disappointing.
