Any one got any advice or information on possible caldari blaster boats for pvp, and rail setups for pve?

I am kind of bored with misiles and I really do not want to cross train. I know there are really no draw back to cross training, but I am caldari and we do not fly gallente boats.

Thanks in advance.

What's not to like about the Gallente crosstrain? +20% to hybrid damage at a range cost assuming you do the ship skills to 4. Armour tanking skills are just a case of Hull Upgrades 4/5 Mech 4/5 and Repair Systems 4. BLAM! bobs your uncle.

Oh and the added bonus of getting access to the Worm, Gila and Rattlesnake.

That and you know our ships just look better then those grey boring lumps of metal you have. (Well other than the Naga, that thing just looks amazing)

I lied :o

Ferox, passive shield tank, blasters and magstabs is fun. Ofc, fitting pulse lasers for the lulz is fun too, and has range to hit people.

You can also fit a blaster Moa, but that drone bay and lack of a damage bonus makes it less attractive than the thorax or vexor.

There are some decent "solo" PVPers who use the Rokh, but I never have like that.

*By solo, I mean an alt with a tengu for fleet bonuses, a main with a crystal set, another alt in a cloaky hauler to scout and for cap boosters, and ofc the fit will be faction.

Oh, and also, plenty of gallente ships shield tank just fine too, if you are worried that you can't fit magstabs due to armor tanking. I reccomend cross training them. Caldari are fine, but why not have both?

good dps and tank for a teir 1 bc, but it is quite slow, tbh there is no reason not to use both the gallente battlecruisers and the caldari if you want hybrid platforms, as they share the same affecting skill. (battlecruisers)

a gank shield brutix performs similarly to a gank ferox, just with less tank and range but more dps and speed. its personal preference really but i would probably prefer the brutix as i pvp solo a lot and being able to kill things before the blob lands is a big plus in my eyes.

just try not to get tackled by assault frigs or intys in either of these fits, because they will kill ur drones and u wont be able to hit them with your guns.

I'm fond of the Blarpy. You can even roam with it and kill cruiser/BC sized **** under sentry fire with it. I don't think you can carry enough cap boosters to take a BS though. :(
