Some questions about trading

OK, I have a handle on some of the basics about trading.

But there are still some questions... Like: I am currently in a station with a load of ore. There are buyer orders at the station. For some reason, the buyer orders are in green. But when I try to sell the cargo, the only option I get it so buy, not to sell.

Any help is welcome :D

Put the ore in the items hanger of the station and right click it. There will be a sell option that automatically fills in the highest available (green highlighted )buy order price.

Ah, right. Thanks a ton! Works the same for stuff like antibiotics, soil etc?

Yes, the same procedure for all things one can sell.
But if you want to make some more money try to make some sell orders yourself.
Right-click on your ore, choose view market details. There you can see all sell orders of the choosen ore.
Right-click again on the same ore, choose sell this item. Insert the amount you want to sell and your price.
Type in an amount slightly below the lowest sell order.
(Order Sellers by price - Be careful to about that, check about prices first!)
Then your sell order is the first people will see if they want to buy the cheapest ore.

Right-click -> sell this item -> Ok = it tries to match whatever best price is in range (green). This means you sell to other players, at the price that they decided. Minus taxes, you pay taxes.

Right-click -> sell this item -> Advanced button -> put in your own price and duration = you set up your own sell order. If the price matches with an existing buy, computer sells it immediately. Otherwise it gets added to the list of items on the market and you wait for someone to buy. This means you sell at YOUR price. You pay taxes and broker fees.
