Launcher taking five minutes

If I log into both accounts at the same time I have no problem.

If I then close one account to change characters the log in process takes about five to ten minutes for a random result, sometimes it logs and sometimes it fail due to invalid format.

I first noticed problems after the patch on the 16th, since then I have had problems docking on the second account and logging in, I say the second account because it depends on which account I log into first.

Any ideas for a fix?

I have similar issues. And then when it does load I still can't login because all I see is "connection was reset" in the launcher window.

I hate the stupid thing! We never needed it in the first place! Evil

same here, have this problem off and on. spent a month with customer support to fix it.

The launcher it and the person behind, well it's just plain dumb. Slows down my log in, slows down my game.

CCP is gonna make a great case study in some future business class...How to run a success into the ground. Roll

It is said that it is a known problem and they are working on it, given that this is one of the few games where multiple accounts are legal, encouraged and beneficial I would think that they would have sorted the problem by now.

They gave me a workaround that didn't help at all, but I felt encouraged by it for a few seconds.

If they tell me to re-install the game it will be most disappointing.

I went and did a fresh install without being prompted, simply out of wanting to play both accounts. I wasn't too excited about both accounts logging on perfectly because it hadn't passed a DT.

My suspicions were justified when I tried to log in after DT and found that I can no longer play any account, the launcher updated and is screwing up the same as before plus now both accounts are not responding.

It seems that it takes 10 mintues for the not responding to go away and to log into one account and the other account still fails.
