I've played the game for a long time and i'm now struggling to find any part of the game fun.

I feel the game has become completely bastardized from what it used to be and although I have adapted I'm finding the constant additional prerequisites to pvp a drain.

The current swarm of t1 fit griffins that jam out Battleships is making for terrible game play. I have never been a fan of non-tiercided ECM and this dissatisfaction can aken to other modules also. That coupled with Logi and more prerequisites e.g. PVP to only take place when over the odd numbers are brought, is having a real negative effect on game play.

What does one do to reignite Eve interest?

Quit for a while. That usually works for me.

That or go do something completely different from what you're doing - at one point I actually sold off my main so I would be forced to change my outlook on the game. Extreme, but effective.

At any rate blobbing in PvP isn't new, and it's not likely to go away any time soon because it's effective, and people tend to stick with what works.

Eve is like an addiction; you can't quit it until it quits you. Also, iderno

You've said a mouthful. Join a corp or there's no fun to be had.

You realize that what youre describing is mostly the human demand for the proverbial "more" through diminishing returns. Eventually no matter how exciting, read adrenaline inducing, an activity, event or situation is if you do it again and again ad nauseum it will get old and boring. This is generally why people tell others that 'variety is the spice of life.' This allows for the old feelings to return due to the memory diminishment of time upon the activity itself within the brain. After a break, short or long, that original excitement and of course dopamine, serotonin, adrenaline and epinephrine ( the REAL spices of life) will return in larger quantities until you overdo it and you get back to the diminished results.

or... AKA... go do something else for a while. Blink

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

I'm finding it harder and harder to argue with this. Anyone flying a Retriever, anywhere in New Eden Space, needs to have some pew pew sent his/her way.

I like you.

Thank you. :)

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

You can take a break for a few months or a year. Or do some NPSI stuff.
Check out Bombers Bar if you like to fly cloaky or just want to chat. I'm usually always up for a chat when online.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

Take a break, I did, pew pewing mining ships is only exciting if you like people hating on you (which says something), and the excitement will only last so long then you will just grow bored again, eve will be here and so will miners if that's the only thing left for you.

Find the ones that jetcan ores. Take the ores and PVP may just come your way. It's happened to me XD

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

You could help this question enormously OP, if you just listed what you done so far in the game and which aspect you found the most fun.

Do something different. It's absolutely necessary to do different things from time to time. Or just change the scenery and join a different corp for a different experience.
