Long Range Light Fighters

So there is a long range version of the Heavy Fighter (Fighter Bomber) but there is no long range version of Light Fighters.

These would be rather handy. Shooting online towers (though yes I know this is only a temporary thing) Shooting targets that are running Smart Bombs or just for simply having drones nearby for fast recall. It was not uncommon for carriers to carry sentry drones before the citadel changes. Don't see why we shouldn't have something similar now.

Yes, sure thing. Why do we need to do stuff when we undock? Is much more easy to let server fight for us. And fill the keyboars with joy we didn't earn to show of.

as to the idea no

just because x ship has y does not mean z ship should as well, carriers are not siege weapons so that point is out. finally light fighters can already hit from beyond SB range.
