Just bought a new laptop and sometimes that can be scary not knowing what the rig can handle. So I made a video just showing going into a small anomoly in high sec .5 system. If you are interested in buying the same system with graphic card or processor let me know if you want me to test out different areas of the game. I wouldnt mind making a video of a stage or maybe a heavier NPC or PvP VIdeo.

SPECS:
Dell Alienware 17 R3
GeForce GTX 970M
i7 6700HQ
8GB Ram

I just came back after 2 years and wouldnt mind finding some fun.
Message me, in search of pew pew :)

I'm told if you want to really stress-test your new rig you need to load up the captain's quarters in your nearest station and take a little stroll...

The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool. They lay. They rotted. They turned Around occasionally. Bits of flesh dropped off them from Time to time. And sank into the pool's mire. They also smelt a great deal.

Gaming laptop all have the same issue, they can provide decent graphic performance but with jefitgher noise volume. And they are fairly heavy and pricey too Roll
Piece of advice concerning dell/alienware do not buy their laptop on their website use a broker, they can shave a huge money amount from the bill compared to webstore price.

Fairly sure you're monitor settings are set to interval 1 or something. There's no reason a 970m should be capping at 30fps on a single client.

Eve for all its prettiness and shinies, isn't that intensive. I have a laptop (regretful purchase but what can ya do) that has a 860m and I can run 4 clients maxed without issue hitting 60 fps. Not that there's any need to do that really but **** it why not?

What do you mean by broker? Do you have an example of a recommended one?

Maybe if you set it all down to low, and run it at 800x640 with litterally NO background applications running, except spotify.

Maybe....

Broker are individuals but mostly companies who negociate your computer price with dell/alienware services,as they negociate frequently and in mass they are able to get crazy good discount on your hardware. To find one in your country i d advice you to check on specialized laptop forum/website ,i found mine this way.

I'm gaming mainly on my AW17 laptop nowadays - it's just easier to chill on the couch than to sit in the corner at my desk :)

IDK what the exact setting are, but everything is set to max and there's no issues... Mine's older than the OP's tho with a GTX860m, but I'm running off 100% SSD's with 32gb of RAM. Runs both accounts without slowdowns or issues.

You could have had at least 980m for the same price, only if it wasn't Alienware. 16gb RAM as well.

Alienware wants insane cash for their stuff.
