And noticed some changes, is there away to close the new launcher once the game loads up? currenlty i am just in the process of getting familiar with everything again ui overview bookmarks lost all of them :( previously i was mainly an exploring mission runner in high sec and wormholes with some limited time in low and null, i now need to establish where i want to hangout, what i want to do that fits my lifestyle and real life job hours of work vary every week early late long. Need to find an easy going relaxed corp (suggestions welcome).

cheers

Hold Alt + Tab simultaneously (I believe it's Command + Tab on the Apples) to flick over to the launcher and just click close.

For finding work, I would recommend:

r/evejobs

and this forum's recruitment subforum.

Welcome back! Smile Exploration is a great choice for casual play.

There's also a setting in the launcher to minimize the launcher, I think. Look for a little sprocket or a little E button, for Launcher Settings. In typical EVE fashion, they hide important stuff behind tiny obscure buttons.

cheers.

So i will be running one account but playing at different times from different machines. late nights off work will play from my gaming rig, all other times from my RoG laptop. Question :- how do i syncronise both machines with settings.

For example i am now on my gaming rig and have managed to get everything set up as i want it, tomorrow when i play it will most likely be on my laptop to start with, will the game settings be all synced or do i need to save stuff to a flash drive and transfer over?

thanks

I believe your UI settings are saved client side so yeah, probably be a good idea to use the Flash drive.

Anyway, welcome back to Eve. Hope you have a longer and more rewarding career this time around.

Welcome back. But why do you need to close the launcher? Leave it running behind the main Eve window and it makes switching characters on the same account a breeze.
