This whole 'New Launcher' thing is a new low even for you CCP. So when is the EA merger being announced?

I just downloaded the launcher to install eve-online. But when I click "Run" on the pop-up window that appears nothing happends, at all. The launcher does not start and it does not attempt to install anything. I am trying to install it on Windows 10.

Are you on 32-bit Windows 10? I've seen a couple of reports of issues with installing on 32-bit Windows 10 - as a workaround you use this download link: http://binaries.eveonline.com/EVELauncher-1045952.zip

This zip file contains the launcher directory, doesn't need an installer, but doesn't give you a Start menu or desktop shortcut. You can set those up yourself manually, pointing to Launcher\evelauncher.exe.

Let me know if this works for you.

It's on 64-bit.

So what is the current security status of the EVE Launcher? Is it now actually safe to make it remember our accounts credentials??

Could the launcher please stop forgetting my settings? I have had it for 3 times now that a random character, partially even on the same accounts, lost all the settings (the stuff in the appdata folder).

same here i rely go crazy with this

postet it in the other thread and even make a support ticket about ID 243404

but its just not funny anymore
in the drop down for the log in there ARE all my account names so somewhere in the system might be the answer
but hey funny i use again little postits for my passwords!

and hey also a big thank you the accounts now have after they are again putted in the right profile checked!
so funny some informations about the log in are saved in the system but 300mb of used bits and bytes arent enough to remember some few informations and get it right

Da die auf Schildwall vorhandenen Informationen nur einen minimalen Einfluss auf das Endergebnis der Neuspielererfahrung von EVE als ganzes gehabt hätten,habe ich beschlossen, die Informationen so zu belassen, wie CCP sie zu liefern in der Lage ist.
