Public sites are public.

Gate keys are not consumed upon use and all you need to do is keep one for each site in your cargo.

Civil discourse is uniquely human. After all, when is the last time a pride of lions and a herd of water buffalo negotiated SOV over a watering hole? Never. Someone either gets their ass kicked or eaten. At the end of the day someone holds SOV.

OP, just to give you a little more perspective, not all of the explorers you come across in high-sec will share the approach to the game as most of the posters above.

I use to do a lot of exploration and I found that many explorers would would yield sites to the first one there. It tended to vary by region. The more crowded the space - the more aggressive the site runners. The players that "steal??" sites tend to be very good at it. If I came across such a player I would try to learn how they approached the site to improve my own times. I would NEVER complain in local. Usually I would try to race them and might offer a congrats in local if I thought they earned it. Then I would flag them so I would know when they were around. I never believed what they said they scored in local.

Sometimes I would jump into a site and find someone was already was there. Sometimes they would get scared and warp off. Other times they would get angry in local. Usually I'd post in local that I didn't mean to intrude and would cloak and watch how they approached the site. Then I would flag them as a competitor.

Low-sec exploration is a different beast. There players are after you -- not your loot. But many times you can successfully inhabit an area with patience and a low-key approach.

TLDR; move to a less active region/constellation away from the major hubs & learn to appreciate competitors as making the game more interesting.

Did you ever consider OP that this person had the correct tag or passkey already in their ship? Certain highsec sites when you look them up only require tags you can buy from the market for 5k isk each.... not exsctly difficult to acquire...

Well OP you could do what I have done and decide not to bother with content that rewards this type of thing, then after a while you get to the point where there is very little left to do, then you go and play another game just as Herzog suggested.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

OP, I'm sorry to say this but tbh you should just forget about EVE, unsub and go someplace else. If you can't already tell by the community here, this game is packed with disgusting people with personalitydisorders who are thriving on making other people lifes miserable. I mean, just read the replies you've gotten in here... Says it all.

If you still decide to stay among these scumbags, then atleast run as far away as possible from HS-space. The name is a good way of fooling new players but HS-space is the worst place in the game. All the shitlords from the entire world gather there to **** up your day and I can't see CCP fix the broken mechanics they thrive on, ever. As someone else mentioned they will probably let EVE die before fixing HS. People are allowed to make a living by earning a ****-ton of isk by simply suicideganking others. The guy at the reciving end will only be told to HTFU, you should've had an armed escort, recon, spend 2 months to move your stuff back and forth instead of carrying 100m in one transportship, and on and on it goes. It does not matter if you actually have constructive critisism, if you put it forth here, they will troll the **** out of the thread til it get closed and they will allways get away with it. This is a place for people who are sick tbh and can live out their sadistic ways without repercussions. Perhaps it's a good thing for the world, having all these ****** up people in one place where they can live out their fantasies instead of doing it IRL.

It's amusing how often people complaining about others, show an exact example in their own language of what they are complaining about.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say either? Are you implying that I'm grifing ppl in HS because thats mainly what I thought of when typing about broken mechanics in HS. No, I don't do that. When I played eve I was mainly doing LS pvp and the occational wh exploration.

Maybe that cut down quote helps you understand, especially the second sentence, which also shows that if the first is true, it also applies to you. The rest of your original post was just the same.

Because of what you said and how you said it. Also, while your character is new there's lol loss on it from 2014, that means you deleted the original one and remade him.
